[URGENT] Windows 7 Update Error (0x80072EFE)

I cannot seem to update my Windows since a very long time now. I keep getting the following error : 0x80072EFE. I did Google it, but foung nothing that could fix this. Even contacted HP themselves, but the solution provided by them couldn't fix it.

So now I turn heads towards my Pakistani brothers, Please help

And it's a 32-bit OS btw.

I am also getting the same error since a week!
Nothing helped at all, not even Microsoft support, and now I'm planning to install a new windows!

The problem fixed automatically
I uninstalled Norton internet security 2010, along with some games [split second, just cause 2 , lost via domus] and some more trash....... Then windows update started downloading updates automatically!

Okay did a Windows re-install. Oldest trick in the book to fix ANY problems

it's some crappy error on MS's end, i had it some days ago then it corrected itself

Just Install Microsoft Security Essentials & scan your computer this may be help.
i had this error and i install MSE after that Problem resolve.
