lmao @ handful. The multiplayer not being added to the collection means that I continue to own the best version, without the need to downgrade for $10 🤷‍♂️
When SP mode runs at 120fps and MP is stuck at 60fps, its painfoolly obvious where the prioooorities lie 😂

Lmaooo @ representing my statement from 2013 completely out of context, in which I was responding to the possibility of ND working on a new IP and letting another studio handle UC4 🤣

Another thing for CerebralTiger to "laugh" (read: cry) react on:

DLSS support at launch is also confirmed 🤷‍♂️🤣

Seems like another win for Sony's PC port efforts.

And Steam Deck is comfortably beating PS4 Pro's performance. (y)

“Much like with Marvel’s Spider-Man on PC, the Steam Deck support isn’t a novelty, it’s a brilliant and unique way to play the games, even if you’ve already played them on PS4 or PS5.”

But the ability to hit 40fps and above on Valve’s Steam Deck on a medium setting is just ridiculous. I can’t explain why, despite having played God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man on Deck, that I thought Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection would struggle, because I was so wrong. After an admittedly lengthy shader caching takes place upon first boot of the game, the load times and frame rate feel like magic.

Uncharted 4 could end up being a Vita game.

Also, I will wait for DF's take but saw the comparison @ IGN!

Same old story!

Another PS Exclusive butcherin' the PC hardware due to shader compilation issues.

Hitchin' & Glitchin' , the RTX 2070 is on average 34% slower than the PS5's GPU @ NATIVE 4k high settings!

DLSS is required but more than that, you need a lot of VRAM for those ultra textures from the PS5 version.

So yeah, a AMD 6800 class GPU is required.

Good luck!

IGN's setup is 2 years older than PS5, so 4 years old in total, and can beat it with DLSS 👏

AMD GPU struggling hard this gen. Same old story.

Async shader compilation or pre-compiling shaders before loading up the game eliminates stutter where shaders aren't complex (with 1000s of permutations) and highly interdependent. A PS4 game probably won't pose much of a hurdle, but can't wait for the first batch of UE5 games 🤷‍♂️

Rona band kardo CerebralTiger. Save face and stick to Nintendo 🤷‍♂️🤣

We also knew this PC release wasn’t going to be a one-off. As you may already know, The Last of Us Part I is in development for PC following its successful launch on PlayStation 5, and with this being, ahem, Uncharted territory for us, we knew we have a lot to learn about bringing our games to PC. But we were also determined to bring our careful consideration for every aspect of our games to this new version. So for the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, we deliberately partnered with Iron Galaxy because we saw in the studio not only a tremendous understanding of PC development we could learn from, but also a team that shared a love for our series as if it were their own. Iron Galaxy offered a partner we could trust would deliver a high-quality version of these two Uncharted games, and with whom we could work closely to better understand PC development while internally staying focused on current and future projects and bringing them to PC as well.
We’re excited to be offering The Last of Us Part I on PC in the future, and know that, moving forward, adding PC development to the way we develop games, which in no way undermines the importance of PlayStation 5 as our primary platform, will continue to benefit our team in the long run. As Naughty Dog has come to better understand hybrid and work-from-home development over the last few years, PC development offers our team flexibility in how, when, and where our games are created.
So Part 1, and future projects, are also in good hands. Future projects will be developed with PC in mind 🤜😄

I have a PS5 but I am not satisfied with the experience. I am currently saving for a 4080 64 GB rig soon. Bit will wait for Pro if performance improves. This gen has been so bad I don't plan on buying consoles anymore for AAA gaming.

  • L LegacyGamerGuy:
Consoles were my main platform ever since Atari 2500. But now I think it's not worth it as PC especially with DLSS deliver far smoother performance. AW2 on console didn't even had ray tracing and ran below 30fps. Similar issues plagues DD2 on consoled.

It is indeed the worst generation by far.

Both PS and Xbox have been a flop this gen as they can barely maintain 30 fps in a lot of AAA games th.

  • L LegacyGamerGuy:
As per WCCF Tech review, Xbox Series X doesn't even maintain a consistent FPS and sometimes drops into the mid-20fps range. That's unacceptable, tbh.

Score 1 for game pass. I wouldn't pay full price for this at retail either.

Just downloaded my first legit digital PC game on GoG at a discount of $8: Two Point Hospital. The same team behind Theme Hospital Two Point Studios now part of Sega. And I am having more fun than most recent AAA games except of course BG3.

Still, I don't like either Sony or Microsoft as they are focusing more on corporate greed than delighting customers. PC gaming is best of gaming and worth every penny.

PC Gamer score of 58/100 for Hellblade 2??? Is it really worse than Gollum that was 64/100? Microsoft games can't even come close to high scores of Sony exclusives apparently.

About the Microsoft (and Sony) debate, I feel both have become too greedy and losing their minds over corporate greed. Personally, I will never buy any console next gen and switch to PC gaming where democracy reins.
