Then created a bootable USB and installed Windows 10 from that. I am right now on Windows 10 and its working fine and all drivers are installed properly. The only problem i am having is that i am not finding any decent and clean activator to activate the Windows. KIMSPico which i downloaded installed many bloatware softwares but it didn't activated the Windows. KMS Auto isn't working and gave an error like non-KMS client.


So please can anyone give me any link or name of a legit activator? Btw i have Windows 10 Pro 64-bit installed right now.

UPDATE: Finally found a solution and Windows is finally activated.

ok finally windows working without getting stuck after login. I don't know what was wrong. It still has a few bugs, especially apps crashing randomly. Also, the email app is a cool feature and cortana is weird af . Also DS4 tool (the tool that lets you use ps4 controllers on pc) doesn't work at all. Super pissed -_-

Does anyone facing slow right clicking while refreshing on the desktop? I'm experiencing it and i also had this problem in Win 8.1 but that i got solved by deleting ContextHandlers in the registry but now i can't see any other ContextHandlers other than Work Folders which cannot be deleted. This slowness is very annoying.

DS4 controller works perfectly fine for me under Windows 10. I'm using it both in wired and wireless without any issues whatsoever. Remember to update your bluetooth dongle if using one, and downloading the latest binaries of DS4Windows.

EDIT: Use this article to install Windows 10 via clean install. I just did mine and I didn't even need to enter any key whatsoever, my copy was automatically activated.

I don't know if anyone tried clean installing but it worked for me. My windows 8.1 was kms activated. I cleaned install it but windows 10 wasn't actually activated. I used the Microsoft toolkit and activated my copy using it. It uses kms as well I think.

Download an ISO, install it (dual-boot or clean install, your choice) use any product key, use the MS Toolkit to activate.

Aside from that, driver support is shit.

I upgraded my Laptop(Probook 450) to Windows 10 from 8.1(KMS Activated)via Microsoft Tool, so far so good each and everything is exactly like i left it before upgrade...However there are few issues like i had to reinstall my AMD/Intel GPU drivers, Cortana reduces my Mic volume everytime i use it and so it doesn't hear anything next time unless i turn volume up again...etc

I have a Dell Inspiron n5520 (core i3) laptop. I just upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10 pro and i'm facing the following issues:-

1) There is no sound, through the speakers or the headphones. Probably an issue with the driver but how do i fix it? The product support at Product Support | Dell US says that this device does not support windows 10. -.-

2) The second issue is with the display. After sometime, spontaneously it goes black and white and everything looks frizzly and messed up, like a bad reception through an antenna on a tv.

How do i fix these? Also it was running perfectly before on windows 8.1

We most of the users from here having different different issues. I'd suggest to reset windows 10 by an option available there. By this you'd get rid of this.

i am facing booting and restart problem .. not working smooth .. takes time to open my computer and control panel .. and some times taskbar icons doesn't open .. :\
and win updates get freezes !!!!!

This. I did a clean install. All the drivers installed it without a hitch. I only had to download drivers for my Asus xonar dg.

On another note. Windows 10 is epic! Its extremely fast and smooth. Task view, pinning windows side by side easily and virtual desktop are of the many epic features.
I have also noticed that opening programs is fast. I mean store and other apps launch instantly. Its like I'm running a SSD
