Only way I can see it being 20 hrs long is if you're literally dying and reloading every 2nd minute the alien is on screen. The campaign shouldn't be more than 8~10 hours even if you're walking instead of running across the game. In-fact it's better to walk instead of run cause the insta-kill Alien shows up the second you start running.

AC Syndicate. Runs at 1662p @30 FPS and even at almost 2X the resolution, the performance is very stable, a complete turnaround from Unity. The game is still buggy though and I've encountered multiple instances of NPCs spawning inside furniture etc. The world and setting look and feel like a low budget version of The Order 1886.

I am very interested in this..specially since I never got around to playing it, I secretly like AC, I like the industrial revolution london setting and heard a couple of good things about it.

It makes the game run at a stable 30 FPS that's true, but it doesn't change the game's 900p resolution nor does it act as a patch to fix the thousands of bugs the game has.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if my score is the same by the time the game ends, there's a lot of control related issues, the characters have wild and unhinged animations and the jumps are more than half the time not aimed at where you want them to go etc etc.

yes i have ended each and every Assassins Creed game to date Expect for those small dlc type games india china etc.

AC Unity had introduced more ways of doing a mission which was cool but it was very buggy and it didnt take the story anywhere... the graphics were epic for its time and i loved how for first time i saw so many NPCS in one area..


AC III is best in the series in terms of combat and game play the jungle the crafting the few new weapons it was glorious (NOT STORY)

I've started 2 Pro enabled games, Homefront: The Revolution and Nier Automata.


Homefront is a surprisingly good looking game. I know the main concern with the OG PS4 and XB1 versions was the performance but the Pro patch seems to have completely ironed it out. Through out my first few hours, the frame rate has held remarkably well and I'm surprised at how well some of the graphical elements of the game look.

I would love to find out whether this Pro patch retains all the cut graphical effects that they needed to implement to get performance better on OG PS4 or if it's running all the original effects. I am also keeping the temporal anti aliasing from the in-game options off as to my eyes the SMAA image looks cleaner. I didn't notice any difference in performance either way though.

Homefront on Pro runs at 1440p/30 FPS with SMAA (or TAA in the in-game options as a choice).

Holy shit this game is pretty awesome but also kind of a let down in terms of Pro support. OG game runs at 900p/60 and it's good that the Pro version at least offers a resolution boost at 1080p/60 and better effects, so the image quality front checks out.


However, the game uses pre rendered video files for pretty much all the cut-scenes and those are still in the same 900p/30 FPS even on a Pro so it's jarring to see the game switching from the silky smooth 1080p/60 to 900p/30 for story events.

Last week I finished both AC Syndicate and World of Final Fantasy and traded them both to gamestop for pre-order credit on Yakuza Kiwami, but that's releasing end of August so there's plenty of time. Right now I'm just clearing out my backlog.
