Yep, Nier Automata.

You still need to 'finish' the game 3 times to get access to that store though :p so unless you're completely ignoring everything, you'll have most of the trophies by then anyway. Just something good for completionists I guess.

That's the beauty about the game, you're not actually beating the game 3 times over ;)

The game has ending A, then you replay the game from another character's point of view and get ending B, then you *continue* the game from the ending B and lead to ending C and then ending D. Ending E is a variance of D (like a choice at the end) but the game has it's own sequel embedded inside the game itself.

I wish more people on PG were fans of the game, it's one of the most unique 'video game' ever. You won't find much games which play like this. Did you think Psycho Mantis reading your card and telling you that you like Castlevania was 4th wall breaking ? Nier breaks the 4th wall 100 times over.

Also, one of the ending has you try to shoot out every one of the credits names as a space harrier style shooter .. and no it's not a fun easter egg like DMC3's ending credits, you *NEED* to shoot them all down to GET the ending itself, it's an active objective .. and if you die a lot in this part of the game, you'r offered help by random PSN player avatars from across the world, they act as your AI companions. I had help from so many Japanese named players in this part lol.

There is so much talent behind the game, it's a shame games like this never reach Call of Duty sales figures.

Chandoo i beat this game once, didnt had the stomach to play again. Main reason for that was very limited weapons despite being a platinum game and 2-3 variety of enemies. Story was good tough

Good to hear such positive stuff about this game. I'm currently playing Persona 5 so Nier, Horizon and Gravity Rush 2 come after that. I have all three of them just waiting to be opened. My sister found it amusing that all three of those games have female protagonists. :p

I'm pretty sure venom really liked Nier too. I think I'll start Nier next since it doesn't seem like a very long game.

Finished Nier. GREAT GREAT GREAT game. Probably the most heart strings pulled by a game since MGS3's ending. Tech wise, not the best 'looker', but a solid 1080p/60 FPS experience and great art. Game has 26 endings (one for each letter of the alphabet) and A through E are all 'real', the rest are joke endings. Finished all five major endings.

As some articles say, this is probably a much better contender for 'are games art' than the Team Ico games, because the shit this game does are only possible in video games. The way the game uses your saved data, game's end-credits, even the time you spend in settings to construct the story, holy shit ... some REAL thought went into it.
playtime of all major endings ?
This looks mind blowing, I heard of the gmae but dismissed it as just another JRPG

I think the game probably has the same problem as the first one. I played the first one on Vita and PS4 both and both times, the game got ten times better once I had upgraded Kat's powers, at least her flying powers. You should try upgrading the powers asap; it's way more fun that way and then the game really shines. Congratulations on becoming a moderator, btw! :)

Although I am still looking forward to play GR2, this is the same gripe I had with the first one. I played the remastered version on the ps4 and while I enjoyed it at first, it became quite repititive later on.

The main quest line is not that long. From the top of my mind I think if you are not going for the side quests then the main quest line of the first ending would take around 10-12 hours.

But as Chandoo said the game is very unique. There is stuff in this game that if I tell you, you'll actually laugh at how stupid that might sound. But once you play it yourself you'll see how good a job platinum did to make all that look so believeable.

Dude, i don't know what you're talking about. By the end of the game I had 7, 8 weapons and the game counter said my weapons were only 18% complete. There's a ton of weapons you can find and buy AND upgrade to multiple levels each.

It took me 21+ hours but your mileage may vary. It's an action game with RPG elements. The game was developed by Platinum, so at the core it's a 60 FPS stylish action game.

Great news, played the game originally before even the boost mode came up, TW3 Complete is one of the first games I played on my Pro. Should be great to see what native support the game gets.

I'm guessing (hoping) 1800p or 4K via checker boarding and rock solid 30.

That's ok, I've been enjoying the frequent PSN sales just like y'all are waiting for the Steam sale :p Sony has had 3 different sales with different games over the last month on the US PSN store.

Mai ne to nahi khele naa :p

Also, besides the PSN sales, I love physical because of how ridiculously low prices you can find on Ebay. Same game which (pre owned) sells for $19.99 on GameStop can usually be found for $6 to 10 on ebay, sure there's no guarantee packaging will be there but that's a compromise I'm willing to take :p

Haven't updated this topic because I'm currently playing Dragon Age: Inquisition, a non Pro patched game.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
