Guys, I need urgent and serious help with PTCL please. Does anyone know of a way to file a formal complaint against an exchange manager's inappropriate conduct? My story:
After several years of battling with PTCL and months of constant issues with VDSL, I was switched to GPON. For a few months, everything was great. But my dad (retired communications engineer) noted that PTCL did a piss poor job with the cabling. The fiber cable is extended from a pole in the middle of my street to a pole in front of my house, from where it finally reaches the roof of my house. Sure enough, my dad was right. The cable broke in the middle of the street after a few months. 16 hours of no internet, TV, or phone. They finally redid the cabling and this time, my dad did his best to secure the cables at least on our end but he suspects it'll break again. Anyway, that was just the start of problems. There are frequent outages of various forms. When I called the exchange manager to relay my concerns, he threatened to switch me back to copper because "yeh humein mehnga parh raha hay, humarey warey mein nahi hay." My dad gave him an earful, but we are worried that this loony is going to sabotage our connection if we ever file a complaint again. I know for a fact his conduct is out of line and I have no other fiber option here in Rawalpindi (Nayatel is double the price for half the speed). I have already spoken to several PTCL employees about this and while they acknowledge that the exchange manager's conduct is out of line, they are protecting their own.
TL;DR I need to speak to someone senior in PTCL to relay my concerns regarding this exchange manager, and his staff's shoddy GPON job before the next outage inevitably happens. Please help! 1218 is of no use.
