There were a dozen guys working on 22 today. I spoke to one of the engineers. He said 23 is active, your connection should be fine. Told him I was 22. He said he has no idea when they'll actually enable internet connectivity (even on 23). Then he said I think they're planning to activate all hubs together, not one by one. All Colony hubs that is, not basti.

Don't think we'll be getting anything before Ramzan.

Yeah I saw a bunch of folks in front of the 22 cabinet. The 2 rows of wires that were connected before were not disconnected and left dangling with the rest of the wires.

Went to the exchange today. According to a guy there, Fiber connections in Officer's Colony will be enabled after around 10 days of Ramzan. Other areas might start getting connections after eid (maybe even 2-3 weeks after eid). LoL cool story. They were supposed to complete the project by March. 1-2 months delay was acceptable but such incompetent behavior is ridiculous.

True. But at least the linemen should be well-informed about the correct finishing time. Everyone of them have their own version of excuses and delays.

The QA team (bunch of kabli boys and a couple of seniors) were checking the hand-holes again today with some sort of a digital meter. I asked them about the launch date. One guy said 2 to 3 days, the other said next week and another one said 'abi time lagay ga'.

So basically, don't hold your breath. It will be here when it is here. At least there's progress.

(this is from a person who works there not their CSRs) "Sir asal main yahan thori renovation ho rhi hai is liay delay aaya".

Ptcl guys installed the ont at my house today. Splicing will be done on monday because according to them the outside cable from the manhole is blocked.

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
