It's actually an Alcatel Lucent G-240W-A, but since Nokia bought out Alcatel's networking division, the branding now says Nokia instead.
Do post screenshots of the firmware once it's active. Although mine has zero branding, I wonder if they changed anything in the FW.
Yeah I just Googled and discovered that it's a rebranded ONT. I'll check tomorrow. Right now they're just gonna hang it here I believe.

If your exchange has been upgraded as part of NTP, then they are installing these new DP boxes, for supporting VDSL2.

Are you sure this has anything to do with VDSL? After i wrote a couple of applications and emails and got my DP box replaced, this is what they installed. We don't have VDSL available. This was at least a year ago.
They probably never installed the equipment for VDSL in your exchange since they were planning for GPON.
It makes no sense for them to have both VDSL and GPON available in the same location.

ptcl vdsl mode not changing issue
AOA, guyz i recently got a new ptcl 15mb vdsl internet connection but the issue is that the mode is not changing to vdsl2 it shows adsl2+. I called 1218 and explained them about my issue and they said that everything is ok from their side and said that you are connected to vdsl but when i check statistics it shows adsl2+. Itried everything resetting and did the settings again but idk for what reason mode is not changing to vdsl2.
I have attached some pictures for you guyz to understand my issue...
