Due to limitations of ADSL thats the max you can get on 6144 kbps sync rate. Actual speed will always be lower than the sync rate. For example my 20mbps connection can achieve max 18-19mbps while when i had fiber optics (GPON) back in Saudi Arabia i always got speeds pretty close to what i was paying for and sometimes even higher during off peak hours.
Yeah I know that we don't get full speeds here but other packages like 4 or 10mbps get around 3.8, 9.8 respectively. So, on 6mbps, 5.2mbps is quite low.
The same shit happening to me, there is something seriously wrong happening with ptcl these days, my profile shows 10mbps uploads but speedtest shows only 4.5mbps
so thats the response of ptcl, let see what happens

Bro you're in the same shit as I was when I upgraded from 1 to 2mbps, 2 to 4mbps, 4 to 8mbps. These idiots don't listen, it takes lots of calls to 1218, exchange visits, twitter DMs to get this fixed. Do not fall for the 60% bullshit. If it is not specified in the contract then it is illegal to provide anything less than the advertised speed. Threaten to report these idiots to SECP for fraud only then they take you seriously. Go a few pages back, they did this shit with me too for the 4th time and it took 4 calls to 1218, live chat, twitter DMs, and an exchange visit to get it fixed. Leave it to PTCL to provide the shittiest service possible.so thats the response of ptcl, let see what happens

well i am having contineous disconnections now, modem is not able to sync, and whenever it syncs it does at lower speed and after like 5 or 10 minutes it disconnects again,
what could be the issue here ? i guess i wont be able to use ptcl happily anytime soon,

still on 6mbps, SNRs are jumping around, funny thing is it starts to work fine for hardly an hour then starts to disconnect again
i think i am having noise in the line, i dont have a phone to check it, but i dont understand why it starts to work just fine every once in a while
edit: just disconnected again [emoji23]
can this problem be related to the joint in my wire which they installed, i insisted but they did not listen and installed the wire which had one joint, because they said they dont have new wire,

Itz definitely because of the joint... I had same issue, my SNR would just jump here and there.. After complaining, luckily lineman was my in laws relative.. He changed my wire completely... My SNR jumped from 15 to 25 straight on 20Mbps connection.. I am having no disconnections at all.

yeah, i was skeptical too, these line joints cause disconnections, but i was making sure that no other thing is causing it,
and btw it is running just fine past 2.5 hours without a single disconnection, if it was the joint, it wouldn't have run fine now

you got new connection and in your area ptcl installed new wires? wire coming to your home is twister pure copper pair or CCA cable? please post picture of cable? ptcl internet disconnects when your joint is loose and if it is twister pair pure copper one 22awg then you can use 3M scotchlok connectors for air tight jointyeah, i was skeptical too, these line joints cause disconnections, but i was making sure that no other thing is causing it,

the underground wirings were replaced but the line man installed the jointed wire from pole to home citing wire is not available we have to use this joint and it wont give any problem, and yeah I have that twisted pare wire which has a steel core and two twisted copper wires one blue and other white

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
