Ok so Probably everyone knows about SHITTY PTCL is but i am posting it anyways just for people to avoid this scum bag of a Company
" I shifted to Jauhar Block 2 Karachi and was looking for a reliable internet connection. There were no good Local Cable walas available here , and my trusty PTCL Charji was struggling for its HAWAI SIGNALs. My only option was to go for PTCL , i called their helpline and asked if their VDSL is available here. I was told that yes it is but you`ll have to confirm it from your exchange.
I went to the exchange and spoke with their manager about 12mbps/3mbps connection, he told me that yes its available here and i`ll have to deposit 3k as their service charges and the connection would be setup on the same day. There were a lot of people in the exchange who were their to return their DSL routers because of their shitty service. I told my self every1 is returning theirs and here i am opting or them. Then i did what should not have done , i deposited their 3k amount and the CSR manager sent me inside to a guy and said that please meet with him ,he`ll get your connection working by Maghrib.
I went to the guy who was using MS Word`s spell Checker to correct spellings on his computer. I asked him about my connection , he was silent and continued his spell check (he did not know the spelling of VISITS ,lol) . Anyways he told me that i am sending the line man over to you. I went back.
All of this was on the 31st of December Saturday , no one came over to my place. I never received any calls or feedback etc. I asked my parents to go check with the exchange and ask them about our connection. When in exchange the same guy told my ammi " Bibi ap apnay betay ko bolain k VDSL na le normal wala le le woh bohat hota hai " " VDSL ka card available nahi hai and it will take alot of time to purchase that card " .
My mother came back after that, today i called PTCL`s CSR department and had to abuse them to an extent ( i feel sorry for a particular Girl who was their supervisor , i had to literally shout at her , because she was being ignorant (story of every ptcl employee).
Surprisingly i got a call from their back end department after a few hours who said that this particular CARD is not available and it costs a few lacs , so PTCL`s operation manager is setting up a meeting to discuss if this should be made available for just 1 customer in the area. I told that guy , i am no longer interested in this Shit , i want my money back. The guy promised that he`ll call back by tommorow and will update if this card is purchased or not. He was unable to answer my question that if the particular equipment was not there , why was my connection request processed and i was asked to deposit the charges so quickly !
This is the latest story as of today.
One quick question
Is there any particular email of any higher management in PTCL or PTA where i an escalate this issue to ? i do not care about the 3k , but i will make a living hell out of the guy who said that the connection is avilable (I already quoted his name and details over to the backend / so called PTCL Delay department)
