First, it was splitter issue which causing downstream to keeping the 4mb connection well under 3mb, as I checked and confirmed by changing the splitter, and now, the downstream is fixed; it's showing complete 4607 kbps. SNR margin is stable too.
On Torrent, the fluctuation is too high, like the speed comes down from 200 to 10 kbps abruptly and stays within 50kbps for sometime. This is abnormal.
For comparative analysis, I checked the speed on IDM, too. Here is the screenshot. It mostly stayed between 500 - 600 KB/sec

So they changed my latency type to FAST and these are the pings I'm getting now. Absolutely loving it so far.

Torrents giving full 1MB/s download speed and IDM is also giving 1.1MB/s download on my 8Mbps connection. I am using VDSL though
try downloading sum torrents through private trackers with vpn/proxy turned on. it doesn't make sense that normal downloading is fine but torrents are not working. any chance this speed issue happens after 11pm at night?
Did they restore your profiles back to the original ones? My cabinet was upgraded as well. Before the upgrade I was on 8mbps and now my profile is on 4mbps. The weird thing is that when I called and made a complaint on 1236. They were seeing my profile as 8mbps. I made a complaint on 1218 as well. Nothing changed.

What was the process of having our latency type set to FAST? Just give them a call and request for it?
I'm also in karachi however getting almost double of that you've listed and that's a significant difference.

Lahore DHA exchange is offering transform packages, if your girja chowk cantt exchange is the same than you will probably get 20 mbps VDSL transform package. If exchange is different, than Transform package will become a dream only for you.Spoiler: show

Honestly don't get PTCL's policy regarding infrastructure upgrades. They are so geographically selective when it comes to rolling out their services and implementing policy. They've got such a vast, monopolized and subsidized network, you'd think they will try and make use of their competitive advantage.
DHA, Guldasht, Wapda Town and Gulber exchanges are offering transform packages. If you are on a different exchange you might get VDSL but for transform packages you have to wait. How much? No body knows

Only guldasht exchange is completely transformed means exchange is offering only transform packages on only VDSL meedium, No ADSL at all.
While Gulber, DHA and Wapda Town exchanges are under transformation process means exchanges are offering both conventional and transform packages. Means user can get transform packages on whichever medium available ADSL or VDSL. In case of no VDSL user have to rely on ADSL only.
New exchanges will only be added after completion of previously added exchanges.

My guess is that with the application of new exchanges the control for the mini exchange has been given to a new authority and everything is messed up right now, i also contacted ptclcares on twitter, chatted with help online and called 1218 when my port got limited to 4mbps. After all this didnt work, i had to go to my local exchange person and ask him to give a request for port upgrading, he did the request in front of me and i came home and after 2 3 hours it was back to 8mbps, the weird part is that after the installation of the new mini exchange my snr margins dropped and i can no longer get 2mbps uploads and my download rate is also limited to 8182, pings have gone bad. I contacted for this issue to the exchange person again and he said that after the new mini exchange upgrade fiber was installed from exchange to mini exchange, so ur snr must improve and he said the typical bla bla that ur line is having issue. And who will solve that idk yet. so ryt now my connection is messed up. It syncs at all the types g. dmt , to annex m and the max upload im getting to annex m is 1338 capped. Something is wrong with controlling of the new exchange, my guess would be that they are incompetent. And for the info on who is controlling the mini exchange, when it was being installed i asked the person who was wiring all the connections bcz the work was going on right next to my street and he said that this will be controlled now from GPO. Idk the authenticity in that statement but everything is messed up right now for me as well.
After the upgrade. My snr and attenuation improved. But the port was downgraded. Seems like they are not taking complaints right now. As I haven't even gotten the automated call confirmation for the two complaints I made.

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
