and to some extent same scenario with me , that i bought 4g sim of zong and inserted in my pantech vega iron2 a910L and it didn't pick up any signal, even i choose gsm only or wcdma or any band frequency , ##7593# , so i was really amazed because this handset run 4g of warid perfectly and also other sims work fine but then i bought an old sim from an old easy shop retailers ,it worked perfectly , but not 4g because 4g is not activated by default on old module sims of zong but 3g working fine ... but let me tell you that all sims work fine as normal in a910S and a910Ki recently bought second hand sky vega 890, i am facing a issue with warid sim converted to zong number, sky 890 is not picking it up saying "Your sim doesn't allow you to connect to this network. While other zong sims are working fine. Any help would be appreciated

I checked the links you sent me for ROM of F460L.
I am very disappointed to know that there is almost zero ROM support for this particular cat6 G3.
I had bought G3 for rooting and installing Custom ROMs. But I bought the wrong version.
What is the way out? (other than changing device itself).
Do we keep running same ROM on korean sets?

Sadly enough, Cat6 G3's (F460x) have really poor development support.
TBH, if Custom ROMs are really what you want, then switch your G3 for a F400 (Also Korean, but not Cat6.) or the international D855.
Just curious, does CAT6 really have any advantage over other varients?
If its worth it maybe I ll keep it.

Well, the ordinary G3 (F400x/D85x) have 3GB RAM and a Snapdragon 801.
The Cat6 (F460) LTE-A G3 has a Snapdragon 805 and 3GB RAM. Matching the specs of a Galaxy Note 4 or a Nexus 6.
Similar to what Samsung did with the S5.
The ordinary S5 had a Snapdragon 801, however the Cat.6 S5 has a Snapdragon 805 and 3GB RAM, instead of 2GB on the SD801 model.
Well. I am not running official rom on first place.
Higher specs at cost of no rom support is not so attractive.
Do you think I should switch?
Other varients have support for CM 13.
Which is based on Android 6.
I have android 5.
I dunno. I wish I knew all this before.

I would if I were you. The whole reason I made this thread was because I had purchased a Korean Galaxy S3, and it had no dev support. After 2 months, I got sick of it and switched to the I9300 international version.
So if it doesn't matter to you, my advice would be that you get either an F400 or D85x G3.
Not Verizon or Sprint. Only GSM based G3's.

The dev seems to be making good progress and I don't see why not. It's a Qualcomm based device and they always release sources making it easier for people to develop.
Try out the CM, if the bugs aren't noticeable in daily use, then keep it. Otherwise, PG marketplace is your friend.[emoji14]

GSM = Korean (F400 / F460) AT&T (D850) / T-Mobile (D851) / International (D855) / Dual-SIM (D852)
CDMA = Sprint / Verizon
They can't be classified as issues, but using CDMA phones with GSM SIM Cards aren't exactly hassle free. Lower signal strength than a GSM device, less Dev support and sometimes slightly different hardware.
