Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon't!!!!! I have a friend with 5A's so far. He had further maths but he dropped it because NONE of the universities required it and NONE of the further math course would help him in his field. I'd vote no. Not to mention how f*cking hard it is.

For Maths, if you're doing GCE Edexcel get Heinemann books, the're amazing. The original ones even have CDs with worked out solutions to each and every question, or if you don't buy original you can always get the live texts from torrents along with the solutions.
For Science subjects try to read the official books from start to finish; helps a lot. Past papers help too.

if you take Further Math;
+Math a level will seem easier, because of what you will study at FP. Especially the core modules.
+additional a levels are always good if you're applying abroad
+If you will sit for entry tests in Pakistan, you will notice that most entry tests will contain a lot of material from Fsc Math, and a lot of that stuff isn't taught at a level Math because they have to make room for mechanics and Statistics modules. But an Fsc syllabus will have some FP Math topics because they don't take any Mechanics and stat topics.

-FP Math is very hard. Nobody requires it in Pakistan and most universities abroad are fine with 3 a levels, except for the very best that are looking for a*s or 4 a's like Imperial or Oxford
-You wont be able to focus as much on your other courses.

Considering you're an Aitchisonian too, and seeing the level of teachers there (most recently encountered a person who couldn't even solve O Level Math past papers. And I'm serious), I'd better not take it.

Wow, leave it to you guys to discourage someone <_<

Getting a decent grade in further maths isn't impossible, it isn't a math course from outer space that humans can't do. It's something designed for A level students, even though it may be a bit hard. My advice is that if you get a good grade in O level add maths and want to take on a challenge, then you should definitely go for it! (I would have opted for it if I hadn't selected computing as a 4th subject).

I have quite a few friends who're studying FM. They do say it's hard, but again as I said, with enough practice it certainly isn't impossible.

If you're aiming for the top universities abroad and you're very good at math, then go for further. A good grade in that really helps you with your university application.

A2 chemistry is a piece of shit.

Every question you attempt, in the marking scheme the answer is different. Thats why I have put focus on Physics and Maths first. Will do Chemistry piece of shit at the end. Completed Physics completely apart from Op-Amp chapter. Have started Stats. Have completed 6 chapters along with making their notes. Will start the remaining 3 chapters in 2 days.

A Level chemistry is easy I'ed say, its the bloody physics I cant get a grip on, thats why doing maths and chemistry first and then on to physics with full concentration, but yea the applications in chem are difficult to master.
