A friend of a friend who works at a Foxconn plant in China got to play with an iPhone 5 (prototype) and has made few images of it, as well as a video of it booting, confirming what we already knew.

Is this the iPhone 5′s final look?

A mockup of the iPhone 5 has been spotted at this year's IFA trade show - apparently created by an enthusiastic case manufacturer.
The prototype shows the elongated screen, smaller dock connector and the headphone jack on the bottom that have all been rumoured to feature on Apple's new baby.
T3 Middle East caught glimpse pf the device which was apparently shown off by a case manufacturer at the show.
The manufacturer, who wasn't identified, has already developed cases based on the rumoured design.

Meanwhile, pictures have appeared on the internet showing a Chinese popstar with his hands on a 'working' version of the iPhone 5.
Jimmy Lin, a Taiwanese-born Chinese popstar has posted a picture of himself using the device on microblogging site Weibo.
According to Lin, the 4-inch screen and 19-pin dock connector are features of the new handset while the casing is the same aluminium alloy found on the iPad.
Rumours continue to swirl about when Apple will unveil the new iPhone, but many believe we could see it as early as September 12 - with handsets arriving in the shops as little as five days later.

Apple has just emailed out a raft of official invitations to an event it's holding on September 12th in San Francisco, sparking rumours that it plans to unveil the new iPhone 5 handset. The event is scheduled to take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, which is where Apple has launched new products in the past. The device was tipped to launch in the autumn and a September unveiling would fit in with Apple's release cycle.
Apple's invitation don't normally allude specifically to product launches, but you can notice that Apple slyly morphed the number 12's shadow into 5, which makes it almost dead cert that the event will witness the launch of iPhone 5, this year's most hotly anticipated devices. Speculation is rife; rumours state that the iPhone 5 is set to feature a bigger touchscreen, 4G LTE internet connectivity, and it will run on iOS 6.​

I can't tell an iPhone 4 apart from a 4S. From the looks of it, I'll be adding iPhone5 to the list as well :tv:

Yes it's one of the best smartphone designs ever. Just the fact that it hasn't aged in 3 years is proof enough.
