Formerly known as Vasco, after seeing the initial reactions and the first rumors about the characteristics, the Finnish company has finally made official the Nokia N8model which we believe will make a smashed sales and now we will explain why. First, price and release date: should cost (with taxes included) about 450 euros and should be available on the market since the third quarter of 2010.
The technical features of the Nokia N8, as announced, are advanced means the camera 12-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash places it directly on top as phone with camera more powerful than ever, and only this specific enough by itself to explain the power of the phone, but we do not stop here, because we also have the pleasure to announce that N8 is the first handset to have the system operational Symbian^ 3.
Returning to the camera can also record video in high definition (HD), which can be edited and modified through the appropriate applications on your mobile. It 's a multimedia phone and confirms that it is possible to have services WebTV (watch many TV channels worldwide streaming) and see the same videos in HD with Dolby Digital Plus audio system
But why do such beautiful pictures if you can share? Developers for Nokia N8 must have thought of this as associate this phone to social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, etc. ..) is simple: you can upload photos directly, synchronize the phone calendar that online, direct links Feed and in many other devices which will surely convenient to lovers of online life.
Pictures taken are likely to be large and therefore decided to equip the Finnish company Nokia N8 with a 16 GB internal memory, which however is expandable (up to 48 GB) with support MicroSD. Ovi Maps is free and can count to 70 countries available. It 's also a USB port to export the data and an HDMI to connect it to TV. The battaria is long-term, it supports music playback for up to 50 hours.

3.5-inch display, 512 MB ROM and 216 MB RAM, has Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet. But could not speak to Symbian ^ 3? Nokia N8 mounts the latest version of its popular operating system that should lead to many innovations, including: pinch zooming, scrolling and multi-touch flick, but incredible, should also support multitasking. It 'available in gray, black, pea green, dark blue and orange brick.
What to add on this Nokia N8? It really looks like a five-star ultra-luxury phone, we will strongly recommend the purchase because, especially if you love photography, you will not find anything better, and also the price for the quality of product is really low. Below is the link to details in the official website of Nokia

Looks good, especially the USB host. I look forward to 10-year-old kids with N8s (thanks to their parent's deep pockets) showing us how they can connect USB drives to their phones, something we've have on Windows Mobile and Android forever. :p

@op: im expecting n8 to be pretty awesome.. since the n900 nokia has got a very good edge in the smartpone market.. and with symbian^3 and a newline of products, they can put a good hold on their lead..

The Nexus One (Android) has USB host support. Almost ALL HTC Windows Mobile sets have had USB host support, including the Leo, Blackstone, Universal, etc.
Umm, what smartphone? The N900 is not a typical smartphone. It's not for average people, it's for Linux geeks (or tech savvy people) who know how to use a mobile computer as powerful as the N900.

lol? i am gettin a nexus one in a week or two and im pretty sure it doesnt have usb host support.. i have used htc diamond, touch dual and a couple of more but none of them have usb on the go.. and neither do universal, blackstone, leo.. i have used a lot of phones, and know about most high end phones, as i have to, and i think this is the only phone in recent times to have support for usb on the go.. get your facts straight..

and lol the n900 definitely comes under the smartphone category.. not that im a die hard fan of the phone, but i can tell you a lot of people on pg will bash you for that as it seems to be a hot favourite for pg.. neways, its definitely for average peple, not only linux geeks.. and i think its a decent phone, there is room for improvement but nokia is closer to perfection then a lot of competitors..

What?
Nokia fansites are shutting down. It's nowhere near perfection, only alive because of it's budget handsets and people here praising it like it's the best.
The Nexus One has USB host support.
The Leo is getting USB host support (you'll see me there as well).
The N900 has a FULL linux kernel and is therefore not a smartphone. It has builds of Ubuntu, Android and Windows. The phone aspect isn't any more integral to the device as any other application. The only way you can call it a decent phone is because they've made it easy to use for average people. It most definitely NOT a typical smartphone like Android handsets.
Ask any intelligent person on PG if they think the N900 is just a phone. Lemme know what they say.

Kindly see to it that you do some research before bashing me. I'm not one to post without confirming anything.

N900 was a crap(what is the use of very strong processing power if you really do NOT have to test its processing power)--Maemo is stranded by the Nokia, so a pure FLOP from Nokia..

N8 can cause some happening. However, the design of N8 is really terrible(I do not know why did Nokia let their aesthetic sense sleep while designing this killer phone)!..Though I have been the fan of Nokia's designs for the past sets..
