Red Sparrow.......................(8/10) watched in HD, boy I never liked Jennifer Lawrence but damn she looked hot in this one! A nice spy movie about how Russian SVR agent is trained to seduce a CIA agent! Worth a watch!

Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure.................(7.5/10) watched in HD, man as much as I love the first part this one was a let down in every aspect. The first part had that feel of excitement which this one lacks! Time pass only!

Saw deadpool 2 at cinestar imax last night

Spoiler: show

well first off the movie which everyone wants to know didn't felt censored to me but it did felt weird at times when ryan was talking and his words came out like out of sync a few times.. maybe censorship by the studio themselves for certain territories or something also i dont think this was R rated or so as they didn't even abuse fully just like fudge or so and stuff. only at instances some swear words but just you know pg oriented swears lol..

anyways onto the movie it was a HELL OF A FUN RIDE as we get with deadpool. from the starting moment to the last it was full of deadpool mocks and jokes.. man it was too much this time i would say and man too many dc shots LOL i mean how did WB even allow this :p

ryan reynolds as deadpool is the best thing... uff. cable as josh brolin was fine. domino as zazie was cool too. t

the most awesome thing was the vanisher, don't blink or you'll miss it :p ahahahah

So in the end this movie wasn't as great as the first coz that was LIKE THREE times watch for me in cinema... this one falls a bit short but still awesome..

he was but not the one from comics i was expecting him to be. he was strong and all but too senti....too caring for gamorra and such, in comics he hates her and bashes her and stuff

i mean he had tears in his eyes man :p disney/marvel sure knows how to twist the general audience... they def went with that approach
Risky but effective approach IMO. They could have easily turned Thanos into a typical evil powerful baddie but I'm glad they tried something else, gave him more depth as I loved Thanos because of all the changes.

I was wondering about that synchronization too. Happened when they were talking about Star Wars and at some other point near the end. That was weird

Pacific Rim: Uprising

Pacific Rim Uprising: I enjoyed the first one. For what it was i.e giant mechs vs giant monster, it was an entertaining ride when helmed by someone like Guillermo Del Toro. Uprising, on the other hand, is a mess.

Apart from some of the action sequences and John Boyega, there isn't much else in the movie that I actually liked or enjoyed. The girl was fine but wasn't really given much to do with. I liked John Boyega because even though the writing wasn't good, the dude had charisma and energy which is something he has shown in every other movie as well. Good actor and being the son of Idris Elba in this movie, he kinda fits in that role.

The visuals/CGI were inconsistent, some of the daytime sequences didn't look good at all, too much apparent green screen usage. Some of the movements of both jaegers and kaijus didn't have that exact weight-ey feel to them reducing the feel of GIANT things fighting each other (it was there, just not as good as part 1). The sense of scale wasn't that great either. Combine that with a forgettable soundtrack that barely used the iconic theme from the last one (which should be considered Blasphemy as that theme is <3 ), boring and annoying secondary characters screwing the pacing up, a ridiculous plot, and an attempt to commercialize the world in order to crank out many sequels, this was a typical disappointing sequel..

Best way to describe it is something that Jeremy Jahns said: Pacific Rim Uprising is to Pacific Rim 1 what Independence Day Resurgence was to Independence Day 1. Ok, maybe not THAT bad, but it definitely feels similar.

Been looking forward to the sequel for a long time now, so this is a disappointment.

Baaghi 2: It was also released in IMAX and other cinemas were also gone crazy for this one. Tiger Shroff can do anything except acting. First half was very intriguing but in second half he goes crazy and become Rambo :fp1: that looked way to stupid 5/10.

Black Panther: Filled with strong characters, every single one of them. No spectacular action scenes except that car chase and that’s all. Expecting black panther to kick some ass but he didn’t. So, I made a good call not watch it in cinema, IMO its over rated and just Okish for me 6/10.

Avengers Infinity War: Watched it in IMAX last month. You can sense something is fishy going on when you don’t hear Marvel’s intro music, thanos is incharge right from the start. Great direction and editing, how well they handled all of those characters, how they divided teams that just blew my mind and that last fight scene when all of them trying to beat thanos. That scene gave me goosebumps. Ironman, Thor and Dr. Strange were the most important characters and yes Starlord too
. Loved it 9/10.

Deadpool 2: Saw late night show at Cinepax. He teased DC too much. Action scenes were Ok but its humor which will keep you entertained and what else you expect from Deadpool. It’s not like the first part cause in first part he had a mission, in this one Deadpool is a softy and trying to save lives. Really impressed with Domino she got very unique kind of super power. Overall it was action packed and hilarious 7/10.

Maze Runner: The Death Cure

Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the final chapter in The Maze Runner trilogy, adapted from young-adult novels of the same name. And IMO, it's one of the better ones we've gotten.

The movie continues soon after The Scorch Trials with Thomas and company trying to save their captured friend.

Since Wes Ball-directed all three, making this his trilogy, for me that's a strength this franchise has over other YA adaptations. It feels consistent and the journey with these characters feel more tangible because of that. And in general, I respect Wes Ball for sticking around and finishing the story.

The action scenes were energetic and entertaining, similar to previous two. The performances, again, were mostly good with Dylon O Brian being the best one. He's honestly a great actor who puts a lot in his roles and it shows, like doing his own stunts. The franchise has MANY running action scenes and they all look good because of the actors doing most of it by themselves. I hope he gets cast in a BIG film. Similarly, the soundtrack was good enough with previous tracks being used, again giving a consistent trilogy feeling.

Now, these movies have the cliches and scenarios you'll find in other YA movies or just movies in general. Some of them are too apparent, some done in a better way. The Death Cure wasn't different. The pacing in it was a bit off as it did felt too long by the end. Also, I gotta say, the world building of the apocalyptic side of this story wasn't done well after the first film. I didn't really care about the world being saved or not, nor did the movies care to go deep enough into this side of the story, so when it ended, you kinda get this anti-climatic feel. Some characters and their interactions didn't get enough screentime as well.

That being said, thanks to a strong first part, I really did enjoy the main characters and their friendships and wanted to see these guys succeed. One relationship, in particular, was quite strong and reached its peak in The Death Cure, that was a highlight for me. You get some big FEELS as well.

Also, this is just me, but major props to this trilogy for barely having a romantic angle in the story. There is none in the first part (which was shocking at the time), and just small bits in second and the third. I mean compare that to Hunger Games or Divergent or Twilight and I'm just glad The Maze Runner wasn't plagued by that.

All in all, I always love to have a good trilogy, and this definitely passes that threshold. It's not a GREAT trilogy that I'd put among my favorites BUT it's still a good one for me. It's something I can see myself rewatching later on. Death Cure was about as good as The Scorch Trials with the first part being my favorite of the bunch. If you liked the first two movies, definitely watch this one. Chances are you'll enjoy it.

Saw SOLO a starwars story in IMAX at cinestar

Spoiler: show

well tbh this movie was better than i had expected. in the trailers the solo actor alden wasn't looking all that but in the movie he did resemble han a bit in the scenes etc his acting and all yeah.

so the movies best character once again came in the form of a droid haha L3-37 or i thinnk LEET was awesome LOL..

emilia clarke and donald both did their parts nicely, donald as lando was pretty convincing imo

woody herrelson the mentor kinda to han solo was real good indeed aswell.. the lessons he taught him surely would help han on his way and building his character !

man that one cameo in this UFF i love this guy, i want the next movie to be on him and NOT some boba fett guy. cmon make it happen ! CAMEO WAS AWESOME ...

Now overall the movie was quite good not great but good so yeah if the reviews or critics are bashing it well its the least popular starwars movie yeah fine but still a fun movie none the less..
