Saved your 90 mins. And my post didn't contain any spoilers!!

Sent from my Moto X Pure
you didn't save me anything, i watch movies bad or good and tend to decide myself.. but you just said it yourself in the post that "nothing happens" which was the plot of the whole movie like most thrilers are at the end etc which keeps people hooked to the end waiting for something to happen...... pfft

WonderWoman

What if this movie was titled WonderMan , and there was a Man as a hero not a woman , would this movie still had 92% rating at rotten tomatoes the highest for a super hero film FFS . Alright Dc boys Gal Gadot is amazing and she plays the role wonder fully , but the whole movie script is shredded as fuck , the antagonist is weak the length of movie is dammn long and the build up is goofy . The actions are good but they are to many . What makes it different than other crapy super hero movies apart from the lead which is female
This movie doesn't define women empowerment , there are far better movies in past and present which shows women far strong in real life rather than this fantasy type .
Movie has good action , good lead , but lacks the awesomeness as compare to its ratings

Gotta say DC is still behind . Captain Marvel will be far better than this movie mark my words , and that to has a female

7/10 nothing special apart from gal gadot

Alien: Covenant..........................(7/10) watched in HD, an average sequel of Prometheus which is itself a prequel of Alien. Felt kinda boring apart from the last few scenes!

The Boss Baby...........................(8/10) watched in HD, a nice animated movie, had a good time watching it, the most funniest scene was when Boss Baby turned into a real baby!

Saw "Na maloom afraad 2" at cinestar cinema tonight

Spoiler: show

well the movie was Fine had some vulgar and laughable jokes and moments, i saw the first one at home and it was fine too nothing so LOL too much but cinema experience makes these movies good... the cameras used were really good i mean real good the crisp quality makes the experience much better. pakistani cinema has come along way in tech etc now if they can bring out genuine real original stuff that would be best... na maloom afraad series feels like a "hera pheri" twist and churned out movies and this second part kinda proved it aswell. not saying it was bad but it wasn't something memorable aswell apart from some humour which we pakistanis can relate too which kept me entertained etc...

Rating : 6.5/10

John Wick: Chapter 2......................(9/10) watched in HD, although I was waiting for its ultra HD print but couldn't find anywhere, so downloaded the best available 1080p print, well just like its prequel it was crazy action, bang kneeshot, bang headshot, body count keep on adding, the only thing I didn't liked was the soundtrack. Part 1 had a much better kick ass soundtrack that really pumps up your adrenaline. A must watch for action lovers like me!

Life......................(8/10) watched in Emirates flight back home, honestly my expectations were quite low but it turned out to be an awesome thriller movie, the whole movie I was literally on the edge of my seat, and that ending gave me goosebumps, yes there were some stupid scenes here and there but then again its a movie, so take it as a movie, unlike the assholes on IMDB are complaining. Must watch from my side!!!

Raabta: I saw that whole movie because I want to see that how bad a movie can be. I don’t want to shame my words for it 0/10.

Smurfs the Lost Village: Saw smurfs in childhood but never thought that they would look like that in 3D. That animation and colors were spectacular. It was funny sometimes but too much kiddish but still this is the best colorful animation I’ve seen from Sony 5/10.

Rough Night: Female kind of hangover movie. Comedy movie cannot be completed these days without Jillian Bell she is a must in these sorts of movies. A good timepass movie 6/10.

Baywatch: What a wastei don’t know what was the point of making that kind of shit movie. Cast some cool faces without any story and your shit movie is complete 4/10.

Rememory: Peter Dinklage is one of the best actors I’ve seen. His deep voice gave me chills. A good suspense movie. It builds up intriguingly but the end was not that satisfying 6/10.

The Assignment: Well that was different never saw that kind of movie before. Perfect casting because she did really look like a man. That makeover was not perfect it could’ve been much better but still it was entertaining 7/10.

Gifted: Oscar’s jury loves these kinds of movies and I am sure Chris Evans will be nominated for this role. It’s a perfect family drama movie 8/10.

Curse of the Black Pearl was an almost perfect adventure blockbuster. A sort of our time's Indiana Jones type treasure quest movie. My love for that first one is immense. Maybe among the first movies I truly remember adoring. I have watched it countless times.

Dead Man's Chest is terrific as well. It tries to cram in a lot of things, but I had a lot of fun watching it. But then something went terribly wrong. At World's End was an ambitious mess, trying to tell a complex narrative but ultimately mundane, overlong and not a worthy conclusion to the story.

The fourth one was without a doubt the dullest of the bunch, given that third was the most confusing.

This one doesn't try to do anything different at all from the previous four. There is so much repetition of previous elements that one has to ask why even make a new one: another curse, another Macguffin that will stop another dead army, and while I can see that all Pirates movies have to be about a quest, just try to be adventurous with your imagination, studio! You are prone to spend unlimited budget on this franchise! Take a page from Indy's book: similar broad story of search for a mythical artifact, but infused with enough individual personality and distinction in the story that it feels fresh. Plus interesting and fresh new characters in each succeeding iteration is also important.

There are a few set pieces I mildly enjoyed, and things are kept relatively lean and less muddled than usual, but still overall not a very engaging end result. The change of directors did not affect anything at all, in the look or general approach to the whole thing. Gore Verbinski had some truly spectacular action choreography in the original trilogy, but that even got stale as we winded down to the end of At World's End, and by now it is as dull as rest of this franchise. No new tricks seem to be in the bag.

All the novelty of watching Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, originally a terrific Oscar worthy performance, has worn off and it has become rote, the effect dulled by constant badgering. They literally brought back Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley for 5 minutes and made such a big deal about it. Reeked of desperation. Among the new faces, Kaya Scodelario was pretty good, probably the highlight amongst the new characters. Javier Bardem was the stock villain, with a lame backstory and motivation. Brendan Thwaites was as good as Orlando Bloom, meaning he was okay.

I have no idea how this franchise can be revived. I think it is time to give it a long rest. Even though there was a gap of 6 years between this and the last one, I could not muster anticipation for it, and it seems the lowest global gross since the first one proves that audiences are tired as well.

My thoughts exactly about the franchise. Haven't seen the 5th part yet.

Watched Wonderwoman again. Still think it's overrated.
It is overhyped. I think people (critics and audiences alike) got caught up in the cultural significance of this being the first major female superhero and being helmed by a female director that the movie was not given the chance to stand on its own merit. I enjoyed it but didn't think it was great or anything. Chris Pine was the show stealer for me, throughout, and Gal Gadot is great as Wonder Woman as well.

Yeah, I don't think it's a bad movie either. I think it's above avg at best. In their pursuit of making DC movies appeal to regular fans, they removed some very crucial things that make a DC movie, a DC movie.
but tbh, I really don't like Gal as Wonderwoman. She has a weird funny accent and just doesn't look badass enough to justify the role of WonderWoman. She's great eye candy though..

Agreed. It was an entertaining movie, but it wasn't extraordinary or anything like that. For me, it was disjointed; first act was ok, second act was awesome, third act was good-ish.

Chris Pine was definitely the show stealer acting wise. And Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was :wub:.

As far as DCEU goes, Man of Steel, IMO, is still the best in it.

Dead men tell no Tale

Okay, so what u can expect from a franchise which is plagued with repetition and lack of creativity. You put a screenplay writer in a room for few weeks n he comes out writing a similar stuff which he did for last so many times.
I skipped or literally deleted all memories of various sequels which came in the past. I just liked one of them n i even dont remember its name :D may be it was Deadman's chest or Curse of the Blackpearl?
Whatever is the case, POC used to be a thorough cinematic entertainment when this franchise started n i think it should have been a trilogy but studio decided to milk this like Aliens n Transformers are being sucked dry. Im no more a fan of JD in this role and this time around, his role was just a filler. Javier Bardem character could have been much more terrifying if his back story was good enough but i think his stardom is cursed these days, his new movie Loving Pablo is also getting mixed reviews. Bag choices Javier, i miss Anton (No country for old men)
what else Jack Spaaarooooooo has in his possession which can lead to yet another curse breaker and how many more curses are out there :) Lets hope that monkey doesnt have a gem stone stuck in his butt next time around :D
Plz dont bring back Jack now n if the studio wants to do something then do a spinoff of some other characters ... A more serious and based on some historic events can be done.

Well finally saw it, this movie when i was like 10 or 11 gave me quite the excitement haha, i had no dvd player etc just a vcr and the local rent a movie shop had this only on vcd. i got some blank vcr tapes and asked him to record those vcd's onto the tapes and than i had my very own it part 1 and 2 :D yeah this movie holds a special creepy place in my heart haha

well this remake was quite fantastic, it had the old movies nods aswell as than something to it with the R rating haha.

the new pennywise to me was fine his talk was a bit funny coz the old one was a bit more creepy well to me, this one had bugs bunny teeth which kinda made me lol at times but other than that he was good no less.

the losers club this time was quite good. kids were funny too haha and good lines with them.

Really enjoyed this one.

You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
