Got Zong LTE sim now and speed is quite impressive for me. Warid LTE is giving me like 10mb while Zong 3G is giving 12mb. I think I should ditch mobilink shitty 3G and port my number to Zong.

IDK about you but I downloaded 80mb size app very quick from appstore and also browsing is pretty fast. "FOR ME" Zong LTE is way too fast than warid.

Checked Facetime on my Dad's iPhone 4 on ufone 3G, Facetime app is there, its not deleted but doesnt work, when you make a Facetime audio or video call it says connect to Wifi to use facetime. on wifi it works perfectly, I found this on ufone facebook:
Ufone: Dear User, Ufone have not blocked “FACETIME” application on your Iphone mobile. You are getting a carrier updates of your Iphone from Apple. To get the “FACETIME” back in your IPhone kindly make backup of your iPhones via iTunes and then reset your phone. If settings prompt again to update carrier settings kindly select “not now” and avoid updating carrier settings.
Ufone: Dear User, this issue is already been highlighted to our concerns department team. Once this issue will resolved you will not receive such intimation.

Dude for ur knowledge .. Facetime on iphone 4 will not work on 3G as its not supported ... Facetime is supported on 3G on iphone 4s and onwards...

As per my experience i downloaded a file abt 250 mb only 2 simultaneous links were supported. Zong gave 400 to 500kbps which also fluctuated wheras when i downloaded through mobilink i got a whopping 1.5MB speed average it spiked on the higher side.
I don have signal issues as moblink and zong bts are just next door.

zong speedtest shows 17mbps at my location.

Please post the link to enable LTE on S5 G900F. I found one but it requires root. I do not want to root it at this moment.

The only way to do it, requires root. Its a very small and simple tutorial. I think, after enabling the option, you can unroot it. Not confirmed though.

Warid has launched 4G for testing and commercial launch will be soon.
Warid never participated in the auction so they don't have a 3G license.
They only have 2G and 4G.

My shitty mobilink 3g. Doesn't matter If I am getting full signals or 3 bars, speed stays the same and even warid LTE is not going over 10mb for me, while Zong LTE is giving me one hack a speed (20mb+ down and 10mb+upload).

See.now this.is.the issue we hsvr ...now just to get lte to eprk.out of the.box we have to use lengthy and.often techniques that can brick the phone ...just to get lte to work .

Lolll now thats why i like korean phones straight out.of the.box.they work.righr away .

Not sure if they give SIM cards to prepaid users, but if you're a postpaid user with a 4G enabled device, they'll give you the SIM.

Just root the device and delete LTEConfigs.apk file in /system/app/ .. U will get the LTE option in network mode

Or do one thing which is simple and u dont need to root the device too ... There is a lollipop update for poland .. U can just flash that via Odin .. Download the firmware frm sammobile.com and flash it ... U will get LTE option

Would it help if i just inserted a 4g sim and see if the option appears in mobile Network?
I am waiting for official Asia region OTA update. I know flashing is simple. Just don't want to get my hands dirty. Sooner or later will have to. But not now

It doesnt matter that would be the same update ... Just flash that and insert the 4G sim and u will get the option instantly..
