yeah, would have been real tone deaf if they kept the outbreak day moniker in the current climate lol.

Wouldve liked to see how much ammo Chandoo sprayed on the bullet sponge King :ROFLMAO:

there’s only one way to take down the extremely absorbent bullet sponge Rat King: Shoot it. A lot
On paper, it should make your blood run cold. So it’s a shame that the encounter itself is really rather boring.
In defeating the Rat King, I went through an entire tank of flamethrower fuel, a dozen 9mm pistol bullets, at least half a dozen hunting pistol rounds, six incendiary shells for the shotgun, four regular shells for the shotgun, three crossbow bolts, two full clips of the military rifle, two pipe bombs, and one very sleepless night.
Defeating the Rat King doesn’t require any such mastery—only patience (and a whole lot of bullets).

I had to tone down the difficulty on Survivor+ to kill this fucker who is really an odd thing in a game that can be generally played with stealth. There should've been a stealth route for this thing as well, maybe puzzles and environmental objects to trap and kill him. Run and gun was quite out of place for me and wasn't that fun since all you needed to do was grab ammo and shoot.

You should be saving enough supplies to make pipe bombs which pretty much murder him.

I took him down on my Grounded run first try, which was pretty surprising to em as well. But till that point I had been saving up everything and had a full stack of 6 pipe bombs and enough supplies to make 3~4 more, after that it was just a matter of run/hide and take pot shots which took maybe another 30 seconds at best.

Like I said to CT in the shoutbox, I found smaller fights with higher number of weaker enemies much harder than bigger fights with one, two big enemies.

"The Last of Us Part 2 is a game that attempts to say alot of things and ask alot of questions using the medium of video games, but ultimately remarkably fails to find the language to say much at all, while also being an often outdated and hypocritical parody of itself."

Yikes.

Alan wake 2 is yet to recover it's development costs. Due to no physical release and no steam launch.
You reap what you sow. This is what happens when you take away choice from consumers. Even with 88% split going to developers, they can't recoup costs. Meanwhile, Helldivers 2 is a massive hit for Sony thanks in big part to Steam.
