I'm most excited about the gameplay, and the media (based on hands-on impressions, no less) has had nothing but positive things to say about it in that regard.

It always does ! Ubisoft does a great job on AC other than Unity all games where amazing, its just that this year I will take a page out of Chandoog's book instead of what I usually do IYKWIM

[MENTION=218]CerebralTiger[/MENTION] I see you have seen the spoilers. Honestly do you think there is some missing piece of story that will magically enhance your enjoyment of the plot. Most of the people are upset with the direction they have taken.

No body cares about working conditions of Naughty Dog or missing bonus checks. Infact 70% od ND team that worked on Uncharted 4 has already left and remaining talent is waiting to leave after the release of the game. All this info is already out and public knowledge.

The SJW stuff is front and center of this controversy because Neil has made it obvious what his political tilt is. The majority of sales comes from White caucasian males and if you sideline or insult them, you are bound to get flak. See what happened to BF5.
