any one overhere using a mouse and keyboard with the 360?

I won a 360's controller when I bought 360 two years back.There was QWERTY keyboard on.But it was no use instead the joystick looked too big to handle.So sold it back for Rs3000. But the keyboard was only for chatting purpose, you cant play games with it. Never experienced a mouse with 360.

I'm using a VGA cable to hook up my 360 with my LCD monitor, along with that I'm using a female to female audio jack to hook up my headphonbes to (The kind Nomad keep telling everyone about). The problem is that I can't get good volume out of it, When I plug the same headphones to my PC ht e volume is fine but On the 360 it's very low, so if any can help me out, I'd appreciated it.

This thing also happened with me. The real problem is that audio jack. I got a JBL audio converter and then the sound was perfect. Bought it from Hall Road for Rs100 (1) though new one is expensive.

The auto converter is the main problem, try getting a good quality one.

Thats because it was never intended as such. It was released for fast typing. Though I don't get why anyone would prefer a keypad over the head set. Unless you have a really weird voice.

Well regarding the USB Update, its like one of the dashboard updates except it gives you the option to use a USB like an HDD.. I dont think its cable of bricking your console but Im not an expert on that.. Im pretty sure it wont I havent heard of any case like that..

Yep 360 only plays the WMV format.. to play other formats you need the "Optional Media Update" which you can ONLY.. I repeat "ONLY" get from live so dont ask whether you can download it from somewhere else or not lol.. <_< .. It will help you play other formats of videos.. download at your own risk mayte.. Xbox Live isnt that trustworthy is it? lol Thats why I havent even downloaded it.. yet

Can I connect any type of PC USB controllers (joytsicks) into the XBOX360 like in the PS3? I've seen my friend doing that to his PS3, he has a USB 'TopWay' controller and a USB 'Logitech' controller, both worked flawlessly...

^ Wait.... You can save them on Memory Card in a finite quantity , But HDD actually maximize the storage and other options like Xbox games emulation and Game installs etc

Saving the game on the HDD fastens load times and keep the 360 cooler and puts less strain on the dvd drive so it can last longer.

It's WAY better for a multitude of reasons, safe to say if you can find one reasonably, you'd be stupid not to get a HDD>

question..im abt to get my pal xbox360 modded frm faizy and such but i was wondering if theres anyway for me to check if my previously brought games will work or not? and dont suggest i put them all in...ive already thot of tht

2K is a great price ....

2.1 Will give you better sound IMHO, No need to waste money on Audionic 5.1 for now - Save some money
I mean, Most of the people usually game via 2.0 speakers ( It doesn't bother me )
Sometimes, I even use Headphones

Its better to get a 250gb HDD for around 6-7k from xboyhot. Also you wont get the same quality when you connect it through the lcd sound output. The best thing to do is get a VGA cable break the front portion open so the HDMI and the VGA cable fit through the back of the 360 (ill pm you a pic of it later). Now connect it to your display using HDMI while connect the sound through the VGA cable's red and white sound wires.
