Salam to all PG members its been a long time since I have bought myself a watch but now as my birthday is drawing closer I decided to give myself a nice present.

Tag Heuer has established quite a name for itself in Pakistan as we have the authorized dealerships in Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore that I know of maybe they are in other cities as well so its not difficult for anyone to go and check their watches out as for many other brands we just have to rely on YouTube and the internet for all the information.

I am still living in Beijing so I bought it locally from an AD in wangfujing for roughly 16500RMB and I think for the money its an amazing watch the build quality is top notch and the movement is calibre 5....its nothing fancy its ETA 2824 and its been regulated and modified so it gives amazing accuracy its close to the chronometer standards but its not officially certified. The power reserve is rated at 38 hours but from my past experience it will be close to 40 hours or so lets see. Its a reliable movement nonetheless and easy to maintain and service.

The case has a very nice finish with a nice ceramic bezel and a very nice black dial with ridges that really pops under direct sunlight and in different lighting situations can look plain black. I personally feel the amount of yellow accent done on this watch is perfect its not like the one they did on another blue variant where the seconds hand is all blue etc.

It comes with a sapphire crystal with the cyclops on the 3’O clock position and gives a really nice magnifying effect to the date window. Its the baby submariner is all I can say

The bracelet is finished very well and feels
solid, comfortable and reliable it has the divers extensions and double safety clasps so it will not fall off the wrist or just open accidentally or unintentionally the only gripe I have is with the push pins for links I prefer the screw links better but none of the watches I know in this price range offer it......sad.

The case back is so tastefully done really like the vintage divers suit.......bioshock !!!

It certainly feels like a 2500$ watch and It could be an amazing buy at 2000$ price range and can compare to more expensive offerings from the likes of omega etc.

Enjoy some more

Accuracy:

Well now that i have worn it for a day and a half the accuracy is +2 seconds for this period of time i will take note of how it performs over the week but if it retains this then i’d say its excellent

Wrist shot:

NOTE: The pictures were taken from the iPhone so yeah the quality is as to be expected my 70D is in Pakistan at the moment l....miss it dearly and I haven’t worn the watch yet just took off the wrapping from the front and back for pictures that’s why you can see them all around the bracelet it does make it look ugly but since i am planning to wear the first time on my birthday i will keep them on to keep it in as pristine condition as possible

Thanks and yeah it feels really solid on the wrist it has the 43mm dial....I haven’t measured my wrist though i prefer bigger watches for more wrist presence so anything from 40-44 is fine

43mm is still on the manageable side. Watches with 45mm diameter look really big.

BTW congrat on the watch, I am digging the yellow accents and the dial looks aesthetically pleasing.

Yes like Breitling looks nice and all but just too big to consider....but it might be the only brand with big watches that I’d ever choose.

I was sold the minute i saw those yellow accents they’re done just right

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
