Yeah i feel the lag a bit than v40 but at my side i have jbtaskmanager installed and i cant see any secure widget thing
moreover my phone is still hacked which i installed in v31

Got the 5230 a couple of weeks back after keeping SE and crappy Moto phones for a few years. Loving it. Great phone. Trying to find Pakistan maps for Garmin XT since Ovi doesnt have any Pak maps (fail). Where do you guys get your apps from btw? Im on IPmart forums but theyre down since a 2 days now.

Lolz... i was going to ask the same question now... I have nokia 5800 XM but its silver...I have seen on site below methods of changing code in site below.... there is no urdu writing language in it and i wanted to change the product code too but there are codes for Red and Blue Nokia phones not for Nokia silver edition... http://www.dotsis.com/mobile_phone/...anguage-nokia-5800-changing-product-code.html BTW I updated mine from version 21 to 40 last night.... it was just a piece of cake... I connected the mobile through USB and ran nokia software updater... it downloaded latest version of software updater that was about 33MB and then installed that and downloaded the latest firware which was about 135mb... Becareful not to turn off ur mobile during update... total time of download and everything took about 35 mins with my 1mbs dsl net...

dude the total phone memory is around 85-90MB......how can the firmware be more than that...v40 was 10-9Mb if i remember correctly....

and mani wait up i'll pm you a solution.

^^^ I know firmware is not more than 80mb internal but thats what nokia software updater showed.... 135mb... why dont u give it a try to see for urself... and secondly send me a solution too coz i have the same question as manigamer....

it might be a glitch or it maybe showing you some thing else...

I updated my firmware too and it was 10mb....heck ps3s firmware upgrade is that huge.

adds nothing new....except kinetic scrolling in the menu which makes'em laggy...

v50 is not as good as v40
So its upto you!

Why are you guys getting a lag with kinetic scrolling? Its totally smooth on the 5230.

KS only lags in the menus(main menu, app menu, etc) ....for instance i have tons of apps in my phone, when i open up the apps page and scroll down with my thumb it give me slight lag.....its not smooth like the music player/contacts
