You are entitled to your opinion and I Have tried LoL. I prefer Dota 2. Why i prefer it ? I just do. Not really into getting into a debate about something millions waste their time fighting about.

Millions? I think you're confusing Dota's numbers with that of League. Dota hasn't even had a million concurrent users ever, don't know where you're getting your stats from.
Hey. It's quite common for people who don't know anything about MOBAs to become attached with DOTA 2. However, you've to remember that dota is nothing but a rip off of league of legends, which is not only the far superior game but their professional tournaments are actively supported and funded by RIOT and Pendragon(the guy who's ideas icefrog stole). And I've got irrefutable proof that Dota is indeed a league of legends rip off.

Correction dude... LoL may have become more popular than DotA but DotA production started in 2003 and LoL is the actual rip off of DotA. I don't wanna pick a fight bro, but, you do know that *Dota 2* was inspired by Dota 1, which came out way back in 2003. Also, if you compare 2003's map and characters with today's maps and characters, you will find them nearly symmetrical. So, Riot etc have to fund it themselves to get people to play LoL ? whereas Dota 2 is community funded. Also, Lets compare prize pools shall we,

Statistically, LoL has more players, but does that automaticalyl make Dota 2 shit or worse then it? LoL according to you was released way back in 2009, Right? So, it has roughly 4 years over dota to grow. Now the question comes up, since dota 1 came back in 2003, why does it have a lower user base, comparatively speaking. Well, to answer that, Dota 1 was started by modders and then later picked up. Many professional tournaments etc were held, but many people were more focused on the graphics, which were subpar to say the least and you need Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne to play it. Also, you should keep in mind that Dota 2 began development in roughly May 2009, while LoL was released in October 2009. Just saying, i didn't know they had invented time machines to rip some one else. Also, yes i was wrong, dota 2 doesnt have millions of users, it just has million dollar prize pools.

Yeah, you are right about the being filled with assholes, racist etc part, but thats mostly in Pub matches. Playing with friends is what it is at its core.

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying. -
