SSF4 Tourney at Eclectic Vibrations ( Gaming Lounge) DHA , Lahore

Well first of all I would like to thank amjad, Terry and Kashif who came all the way from pindi to take part in this tournament. It was a pleasure meeting you all and specially Kashif and Terry who are of my own age group.
The tournament was a hit and it was won by amjad. The first match was between me and terry since we both were in the winners bracket and Terry lost in the first game. After that I had to play with amjad in the winners bracket to secure my position but amjad played exceptionally well and knocked me out in the loser pool. In the loser pool I had to face terry again cos he beat jawad and terry played amazing in the second game and I was knocked out of the tournament.
The final was between terry and Amjad and what a match it was . Amjad clutch the first game right out of terrys hand and we all thought that the second match is gonna go this way too. But terry with his amazing Sagat combos came right back in the game with a flurry of Fadcs into ultras and jargoning combos. The final match and the third round, nerves wrecking and we were on the edge of seats cheering for both players but as fate would have it amjad scored in the third round of the final game.
The best moment of the tournament was when I was hit by terrys crouching middle kick cancel into tiger upper cut Fadc , Forward high kick into ultra.
After the tournament and the prize ceremony I provoked the pindi gang to stay for a bit and we played for a couple hours which were fantastic. Made me think I really need to polish my Dudley up .
I deeply apologise to the pindi gang for not spending more time with you because of some events which cannot be ignored
It was a pleasure and honor meeting you all and inshallah I will definitely see you guys when I come to pindi to have a ssf4 meetup once again

I would also like to show my deepest appreciaton to asad and Ali bahi for coming to support me.

I am a old man bro , got a rusty memory but i will try my best to chart out the way it went .
kia ho gya hai aamir bhai...im older than u....ap boht acha khailtay hain...farak sirf itna hai k apky sath k player boht strong nahi hain...apko apni team k members k sath milker or hard work kerna hoga...coz abhe aap nay lhr main ssf4 ke foundation rakhi hai...thora time to lagay ga..per game fit ho jaey ge...
me apni misal deta hun....mery khayal main puray pakistan main sab say kam ssf4 main nay khaili hai...but kuch na kuch hath pair mar he leta hun...
iski waja sirf yehi hai k mery sath khailany walay strong player hain...or mujh mar kha k jald he samajh aa jati hai k me nay kia kerna hai..
meri baaton ka bura na manana..per ye fact hai k apko apnay group k players ko mazeed strong banana hoga..
attack solid,defence strong,perfection,tech traps,mental aproch checking etc sab pe working kerna hoge...
aj kal apko game detail waghera k liay sab kuch ba asani mil jata hai...
hamaray dor main to token k paisay he nahi hotay thy....
jab tak banda tention lay k nahi khailta uski game improve nahi hoti...apnay group k sath chotay chotay tourny khailain..ya best of 3 or 5 bana ker har mumkin koshih kerain k me nay sirf or sirf jeetna hai...chahay mujhy pora round grabing say ya cheap game ker k he jeetna paray
Actually kashif bahi there are good players around here , some could not make it cos they were not free and that is totally understandable. . As far as my game goes i have learned everything online with the help of some great friends, we did not have any ssf4 meets untill mofo came up with a brilliant phadaybazz meetup plan and before that we never had any offline gaming sessions . The thing is all of us including me , we play this game for fun, Like sunny said in a post that we play ssf4 causally doing random moves sometimes. U know the saying " Hum Cricket Khalthay hain magar Crickter nahe hain". I persoanlly accept this fact and am happy with it
Thus you are right we should at least formulate a way to bring some pressure in the game cos that is how you improve and learn to react in different situations. But the problem is which is very common in people that they might take the intensity and pressure a little too seriously. they get overboard which results in trash talk , ego jittery discussions, etc etc. Players don' take criticisim positively and thats when teh ego wars begins. And i seriously resent that fact that we over a mere game should do that. It is a sport as i say and we should take every criticism in a sporty manner and cheer up everyone .

im not a good player i know but support to my friends is my passion...i realy missd some other players like mofo and exodus and that man ....i dont know his name but u said his name is khalifa and another good player of ryu ....also dont know his name but amjad told me his id is paranoid...and he said that he has good game with strong basics...i dont know why they dont come for tourny but next time i wish to play with both of them...

His name is jawad and he comes by the Gamertag LahoreKhalifa as i recall. A exceptional player no doubt about it , very solid and Paranoid is an amazing find , I played with him a couple of times on Xbl , gave me quite a tough time. Would have been a blast if he could join in . Inshallah if i come to Pindi will surely visit you guys .

2nd thing people came here and write without even understanding the difference between playing for winning and playing for fun,may be because they never themselves found in friendly fun full environment where every 1 cheer u even u lost ...they only known to bisti kharab situations where u dont get the credit of winning and losing is like sin ... but there is one thing now i always say that we should bring little seriousness in our game because we play for fun still we can give OTHERS hard time so if we start playing seriously we can rape them

Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit. -

I have heard that it is now unplayable in countries which do not support handful of third world countries not recognized by Sony like Pakistan. Steam is a true global platform.Then they cry that console gaming is dying.
