Trophies are indeed available. But naughty dog made sure not to give any out on your first run of the game. I read they begin to pile up in your New Game +

and I tried my level best to stretch my experience in the world of the last of us. Switched between single and multiplayer......but alas....I finished it. It's depressing to see it end!

Alright, so I finally join The Last of Us finishers camp. Yippee!

Phew! This was one hell of an experience, I must admit. It's really a survival game, redefined.

My favourite points were that one room full of clickers, that generator place, the hunt with Ellie and the hospital.

Btw, I killed each of those nurses and the doctor in cold blood. I didn't feel the need to spare either of them thinking I already had blood of so many bastards on my hands. :p

Also, I avoided the Boomer and the Runners in that generator scene and bolted straight up with the keycard.

I plan on trying the multiplayer tommorow around 9pm. Hoping to be equally impressed, if not more.

so i just finished playing the game..overall, an awesome awesome game, i dont think i have ever finished any game this fast. took me like a day to finish.

Spoiler: show

the ending movie couldve been better. i mean it was just a minutes ending cutscene at max. or did i miss something after the credits?
I can't believe your brain was able to pass through such a lengthy experience in one full day. Mine would go crazy if I keep playing something like that for so long without any stoppages! It took me around a week and I am already dreading playing the Survivor mode thinking how brutal and long it would be.

Does anybody remember that scene after meeting giraffes when Ellie calls out Joel and offers him something she had kept for him? I ignored her, thinking I would search the van ahead and then get back to her. However, Joel told her they would do it after reaching the lab.

What would she have offered him? I had the option of pressing triangle before but it vanished as soon as I started searching the van and telling her off.

^She gives him the photo of Joel and her daughter. The same one that his brother Tommy offered him earlier in the game. Joel mutters something like we can't really let go of the past and takes the photo.

Thanks, guys. I should have figured since Ellie had been talking about Joel and his daughter just before.

That's kinda adorable. :)

anyone else who thinks that the ending should be a bit more detailed ? i mean it just ended very unexpected.
I got that same feeling, intially. Upon reading about the upcoming DLCs for the game, it was a bit redeeming but they could still have extended it a tad bit more I felt. However, I have been overwhelmed by the length of the game and it's strange how I kept wishing for more despite the game being so long.

I also feel that atleast one of the DLCs should pick up the story from where it has left off in this game. I hope ND comes up with something equally magnificent.

Good idea, but I could only find the trailer on Youtube. Do you have a link to the full video?
Same here. Do check out the development series on YouTube.

We seem to miss the importance of the minimalistic UI when it comes to crafting items. They have kept the focus on the action even during those moments when you are busy crafting items but made sure you do not run into massive lists to scroll through which sway from the action.

Gotta love the attention to detail in the (seemingly) minutest of circumstances.

Guys, the documentary is available with subtitles or not? I was a bit sad to find that there is no such thing in the extras menu. Uncharted Trilogy is famous for unlocking these "Making Of" videos with our game progression. I loved watching each and every one of them :D

Yup, very true. For the amount of options available, the UI is surprisingly simple and minimalistic. Crafting items has never been this easy.

I'll be getting the season pass in a day or so. If no one uploads it on YT with subtitles by then, I'll do it.

Remember that place covered by booby traps by Bill where you hear the door banging on the left and you have the booby-trapped door right ahead that you have to clear? How many of you actually went ahead and opened the door on the left before moving ahead?

I made the mistake of going ahead without attending the person banging the door in my first playthrough. Afterwards, I kept thinking it must have been Bill and regretting my decision to ignore it. Now that I am playing the game again on Survivor mode, I opened it and found nobody immediately but a Runner upstairs, plus there were a few collectibles and a note.

I am trying to make sure I do not miss a thing during this playthrough; however, with the meager supplies at my disposal I am afraid this won't come to pass. Perhaps New Game+ on Hard Mode would do the trick some time later.

I opened the door in my first playthrough to see who the hell was banging, I knew something was wrong and had my bow equipped and ready to fire. The runner came at me and I killed him, still scared me to death :p.

^Hahah! It was strategically placed up there behind the cupboard.

I played the generator part in the dark once more and it was as scary as before. I doubt that it ever gets less intense no matter how many times one has played the sequence.

I was playing the bit where Ellie and Joel part after Joel falls from the lift and makes his way through the generator sequence to this restaurant where he sets the ladder and gets kicked by a dude just when he reaches the top.

I absolutely ADORED the expressions on Ellie's face when she, after shooting the guy in his head goes, "Man, I shot the hell outta that guy huh?"
