A DLC could do justice but at the end it's a DLC. Mass Effect 3's DLC didn't do anything at all for me. However Naughty Dog has claimed that they will not make a sequel. At least for some time.
To an extent, I agree with what you're saying, but in the case of Mass Effect 3, none of the DLC took place post-ending. If The Last of Us' DLC takes place after its conclusion, then it may serve a more interesting purpose.

Game ended perfectly. But did Joel made the right decision? kinda selfish na?There will be a strong temptation of making a sequel but i hooe they dont. No one mentioned the scene of Sam and Henry. That was pretty strong.

Damn right he was being a selfish prick, but I suppose he didn't want to lose someone again. The voice acting was amazing and I liked the small talk between characters. My favorite sequences were :

1. Near the end when the whole underpass was filled with infected. It was pretty hard to sneak past them.

2. The generator scene where they all attack. I killed all the infected without wasting too much ammo except the big hulking mofo and ran for it.

3. The sequence where you play as Ellie and have to defend against the zombie horde.

Loved the game, absolutely stunning and intense in places and music was very moody which suited the game perfectly. Naughty dogs have created another game of the year contender.

Talking about favorite sequences here.

1. The generator scene scared the fuck outta me. I finally had to run my ass all the way to the exit while my heart was beating like crazy, lol.
2. The sniper scene was definitely a lot of fun and i ended up killing most of the guys on the way :p.
3. The ending bit in the building. It was intense and difficult on hard due to their assault rifles.
4. The stand-off in the building when all the infected attack and we are controlling Ellie. It was loads better than we had in RE 4. My favorite gaming moment for sure.

As for the story, i loved every bits and pieces of it. I tried to have as many optional conversations as i can. Ellie had such an amazing A.I and the way Joel and Ellie kept chatting with each other throughout the game was definitely one of the most memorable experience for me.

Speaking of optional conversations, did anyone trigger the conversation on the grave of Joel's daughter? It was right before the place where we meet Joel's brother, near the dam.

Me too man. I was about to push triangle for the generator string when clickers sound starting coming from my surround speakers, and BAM!!. Was scared as fuck.
And yeah, I triggered that conversation.

Probably the most beautiful scene I've seen in a game to date. Truly a spectacular moment, not just from a graphical standpoint, but as a whole.

Having experienced the savage and vicious face of humanity in a post-apocalyptic setting, it came as a breath of much needed fresh air. A symbol of hope; that there was yet a future for Joel and Ellie to look forward to.

Move aside Bioschock Infinite, new Game of the year for me. :D
It seemed extremely difficult for any game to top Bioshock Infinite, but The Last of Us managed to do it so effortlessly. Within the first few hours of playtime, you come to the realization that this is better than anything else you've played this year.

Well now it seems extremely difficult, maybe impossible, for any game to top The Last Of Us, especially in the story/character department. :D

Maybe Beyond: Two souls can beat it in that area.

You can't find a protagonist more imperfect than Joel in TLOU.

If you divide the game into three segments, he was pitiful in the first part, heroic in the second and nearly a villain by third. His choices - DAMN. Killing Marlene and that Doctor at point blank and swearing a lie to Ellie right in her innocent face, The last of us are really not all that nice. Plus that crazy group of human flesh eaters......damn that was some disturbing stuff. The military, the rebels, the rekindling of humanity by Tommy and his gang, the Pittsburg gangsters plus various other survivors we saw.

I mean this game has SO much thought provoking moments that you can easily get lost. That's beyond the experience of reading a good book. Then you got the best graphics ever seen on a console and art style blowing any PC game to smithereens in terms of visual presentation. The animation, the context aware movement and the super smooth controls, the whole gameplay design and crafting system and leveling up and weapons upgrading......damn this game has everything! And not just that, the weapons are SO punchy and loud and gory! And blood..THAT BLOOD. Plus all the disturbing stuff like the dead bodies of children, Sam's death, Sarah's death, Joel murdering Marlene and the doctor brutally, Ellie's segment in that crazy town......I'm at a loss for words and expressions to state how this game has redefined the standard of quality in every department when it comes to videogames.

I thought the killing of the Doctor/Surgeon was our own choice. I didn't hesitate though and shoot the Doctor + the two nurses right in the head :p

There was no choice. You HAD to kill the Doctor. I spared the nurses man. All those people were working for humanity. Joel killed them for selfish reasons.

There should've been a trophy for sparing the nurses lol. Seems like trophies were an afterthought, especially considering how few of them there are to unlock.
