Here are all the rumors and speculation surrounding the PS5, including a potential PS5 release date, power, and launch games of Sony's inevitable PS5. Is the PS5 releasing in 2019?


What we Want From the PS5 Speculation aside, what would we ideally want from the PS5? Backwards compatibility for PS4 games would be brilliant, simply because you'd be able to carry over classics like the Shadow of the Colossus remake to the next console generation. We've seen how well Microsoft is handling backwards compatibility with its Xbox One consoles (including getting amazing results updating Xbox 360 games to run in 4K on Xbox One X), and something similar on PS5 would be great.

In terms of pure power, the PlayStation 5 has to significantly exceed the power of the Xbox One X. This means featuring more games running in 4K at 60FPS. If the PS5 can deliver about 10 TF of power we'd be happy, as this would allow devs to create games that look a generation ahead of what we've got now.

But what would the dream launch lineup be for the PS5? Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part 2 are hugely anticipated blockbuster games, with the former especially looking to push the performance of whatever system it's on to the very limit. We've also mentioned Ghost of Tsushima and a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, and the latter would be the perfect way to kick off a new console cycle from Sony.

Dex Pass is the most economical way to play games (even better than PS Plus), so I don't see why Chandoo wouldn't play multiplatform games not worth paying for on PC. It's a no-brainer. The games he actually cares about, he still gets on PS4. Case in point, Resident Evil 2.

I have RE2 on both PC and PS4 actually :p

PC first because of CDKeys deal and PS4 when it became available cheaper.

Yeah I don't know why Chandoo took offense to that simple fact that even he relegated his Pro for exclusives only, confirming Sony's fear of people migrating to PC lol






If Sony thought exclusives were enough, there wouldn't be any need for an "enhanced" console. A new upgraded console was made to cater to multiplatform games, yet people kept gaming PC for multiplatform (and daily email checking) needs.

Pro was released so they will have something available for the 4K scene till PS5 released!

Because even the XBX ain't enough to keep gamers goin' to PC for the multiplats.

he dont knw anything he just likes to brag abt ps4 bcoz he has a shitty pc and has never really experienced true gaming...

speaking to him is like speaking to a gamer who plays igi than compares it to bf1.

his comments and arguement only will matter once he has a good 4k monitor with rtx 2070super or above to help him play his games on it.


for now he is just a cheapassgamer who just likes to brag randomly.

Any multiplayer focused multiplat is miles better on consoles thanks to PC cheaters.

That said, the issue isn't big enough for me to get an Xbox console to play the occasional Halo and Gears multiplayer cheater-free. Would rather just play them on PC, since I already have one for non-gaming purposes.

    So i just found out that f***ing s***bag Microsoft shut down Arkane Studio (makers of the brilliant Dishonored series) and Tango Gameworks (makers of the iconic The Evil Within series), among some other studios.     Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.

    tbh gaming industry as a whole is failing much like tech industry. They have buckled down too much to Corporate suites then relying on passionate and innovative people. A corporate only believes in financial growth and shareholders.
