Agreed. The combat is gritty and intense. Ended with a bang, literally. I just hope it's not all just some elaborate set piece.

These are all the games of the respective platforms that were showed on the conference floor. You can even count the 3 or 4 vita games they showed and it's still less games than what MS's conference showed lol.

Except that if you take out the multipplat games from both their lists and count the exclusives only, sony has more, included the fact that 3-4 of microsofts games are just XBL titles.
Your wish, my command etc etc, cutting out the multiplatform chaff.

In terms of exclusives, Sony conference stole the show. "Beyond" and "The Last of Us" were EPIC!! There was that Wonderbook but it wasn't the main focus of the conference unlike Microsoft Kinect.

Awesome to see Cage's next project. His work is always more than what meets the eye in trailers and first looks. The Last of Us, the combat and scenario flows showed amazing direction for a videogame. Am not sure how much control we have over the actions because Joel's actions seemed very scripted. Also, Ellie's reactions made Joel's actions more "real". I mean her disgust at him using the molotov - I was actually curious about how she'd respond to Joel killing someone with a shotgun with a point black shot to his face.

Bro while your 360 loyalty is beyond question. But this game list I mean Racketeer, its a Angry Birds ripoff which sadly no one will play, and calling it a game is even more disturbing. Dance Central 3 yeah that is exciting game for a huge 360 fanbase. Halo 4 and Gears are the only games that I find are actual games.
Like I said, I just posted the total amount of games shown, on both platforms, no bias there.
Beyond was intriguing indeed, can't wait for more from QD on that game.
GOW-Ascension looked good too, the character detail is raised higher from Gow 3. Kratos looked weird without the golden shoulder guard though
Sony didn't shed any light on the Gaikai thing though, wanted more info on that, also the in-game Ads thing. Maybe they will reveal more about that when the PS4 hype train starts to roll.
Also, No Killzone Vita , i was especially looking forward to that for Vita! Maybe some where down the line perhaps.

We should all realize that even though Sony isn't doing good with there handheld and financialy in a strain, still it brings more quality new IPs year after year. Just like Gears and Halo, Sony brought God of War back. It is neck to neck with 360 exclusives.
But here we are talking about amazing games like BEYOND and LAST OF US and not some prequel or a reboot.
