Smooth Video Project: Run your HD movies at 60fps

Had been trying to test Frame Interpolation for ages on my rig, but for some reason AVISynth would always crap out no matter what. It wasn't until I ran across this amazing Open Source Smooth Video Project (SVP), that my dream became a reality. Please note that you might notice glitches in some movies (mostly old) with the increase in frame rate, but the super fluid motion and smoothness completely eliminates the jitter associated with the 24fps which are standard for movies. I'd highly recommend everyone give it a try. Every modern GPU to date released from either Nvidia or ATI is supported. It uses OpenCL to perform its deed. You can say that it actually uses GPU for 60 fps, but without DXVA.

For having the absolutely best quality in video playback, you must install madVR as the renderer:

A word of caution, remove any and all codec packs you may have installed completely. Just pick default options with this program, no customization, and you can run it trouble free. If you wish to further customize to increase the quality, let me know .

There is such a huge difference between those two videos! I will definitely try this software.

Its not a big deal. This thing exits since the DVD Era, and if i am not mistaken, it was first introduced in Intervideo WinDVD v7.0.

You do NOT need to convert/render a movie to get this result as MOST people here download Pre-Converted Movies off of internet.

^ What I shared is different. You do not need movies encoded to 60fps. This SVP will do the job for you. MadVR is widely considered all over to be the best renderer. If you don't believe me, please google madVR comparison vs ffdshow. All you need to do is just install this SVP codec pack, reboot, play any video. That's it.

yar movies are 24fps feeel......theres reason why game r 60fps and movie is 24fps....

Yep splash pro does exactly that. I've tried it but dunno didnt liked the feel of 60fps. Maybe coz movies were not originally 60fps. I also noticed some frame skipping using Splash pro so stopped using that and reverted back to Media Player Classic.

i tried playing 24fps video using above method after installation of MPC and SVP
it doesnt plays like the one showed in 60fps video
there is a differenece but not the difference like the one showed
