Skyrim’s kind of a big deal. Seeing as you’ve probably heard it mentioned more than the word “the” in the past 24 hours, I doubt that comes as a Tamriel-sized surprise to you. That said, at this point, even my cold, jaded soul can’t help but say damn.


According to Steam’s tracker, Skyrim’s rocketed to 231,593 players (as of writing) during its first 24 hours. For reference, Modern Warfare 3′s currently in distant second at 78,161. That’s sort of, you know, insane. It’s probably also a record number of people concurrently falling to their knees, gazing up into the falling rain, and cursing a single interface designer’s name.

MW3 has COD brand name on it nothing else and this COD name has created some very good games in the series but later they r starting to just crap this name if they failed to add something new in upcoming years than they will be going down like World of Warcraft.and Skyrim is also rolling some big bucks for the company.

To me the original Call of Duty is still unbeatable as it had the excitment never found in any other game down the road in COD franchise. In those days its was a new thing to hear mortars falling beside you in 5.1 surround.

For those having little trouble digesting those numbers. They're comparing both games on the PC platform, exclusively. The 260,000+ players are currently playing skyrim on Steam, since its a steamwork game, and so is MW3. We all know how much worth MW3 truly holds for PC gamers. Look up the sales numbers of MW3 on PC alone .
