I am in need of some help guys. First of all , Youtube is blocked in my country, Pakistan atm.

Secondly, I havent ever rooted my S4 I9500 ever and have always been on stock since day one. The firmware i am using is XXUBM9 which i flashed a few days ago. Everything went fine but now whenever i connect to my wifi some notification pops up which again tells me to connect to my wifi , which i am already connected to (screenshot 1). And when i click on it, it directs me to a page (screenshot 2) , or i should say an IP (which changes a little bit) or other IP like 173.194.35.99 , which is also blocked on my ISP . The location of that IP leads to Google Inc in USA.

When i kept pressing that Notification, ClickED on APP info, then it shows me that it is generated from ANDROID SYSTEM.[

I have flashed the firmware 3,4 times already which was released for my country PAK few days ago. But nothing is helping. Rest of device works fine. So any help i can get or advice?

guys, well, normally the 'sign in to wifi network' message appears on public (free) wifi setups like the ones available at airports, coffee shops etc.

have you considered that this might not be a problem with your phone but with your wifi setup?
try ->

1_ connecting your phone to some other wifi network i.e. you can create a hotspot from another mobile or a laptop for testing

2_ reset your wifi router (i would suggest doing this first)

Your modem's settings are at fault. My modem does the same sometimes. The IP shown in the address bar is always the (then-current) external IP.

I have been trying to diagnose this issue from quite some time but haven't been able to find out the root cause of it. I am certain of one thing, that its related to our WiFi Setup.

But nothing has changed in my settings. The message started appearing last week and i am sure nothing was done to the modem settings, i haven't even accessed my router settings for like ages.
It is not a problem with the cellphone that's for sure

then it may be a problem with your service provider..

i would still suggest to test on a different wifi setup

I doubt it's a router problem. It never asks me to Sign In on my aunts Galaxy Tab 2 (stock 4.1.1) and doesn't ask on my Galaxy S2 (Stock 4.1.2), but only happens on my dad's 1st Gen Nexus 7 (and it never came on 4.2, the notification started on android 4.3).

nothing wrong with my speed @playstore or anywhere else
Which play store version? Newer or older?

Just noticed something really weird, play store on my gs1 giving max speed (old playstore) while on my n4 after initial burst download speed starts fluctuating between 20-100KB/s, same thing on my n7 2013.
