- Selling less than COD and the highest paying sports title on the US PSN is a bad thing now?
- comparing the sales of Returnal with a 2 year old fighting game that was on sale, released across 4 platforms, and had a movie based on the IP released in the same month? Yikes!
- Outriders has to be a good third person shooter before it can be superior to anything else . It also sold across 3 platforms, and was only available via subscription on 1 of them (Xbox via Game Pass)

Looking at the PlayStation-only charts:

Returnal did really well at #3 as a PS5-only (how many consoles have even sold through in the US? lol) title, getting higher $ sales than most games that are also available to a much wider audience on PS4. Congrats to marque

Man, this game is absolutely phenomenal. Solid gameplay mechanics and haptic feedbacks that truly feel next gen. After Astro bot this is the game that truly takes advantage of the Dual Sense to enhance your gameplay experience. The creature design and lighting is top notch too. I have never been a big fan of rogue likes but this is something out of the ordinary it seems. I

have just killed Sphinx and reached the crimson desert area, having difficulties though to get through the desert atm though.

- The Electropylon gun, Rotgland Lobber, and Hollowseeker are your friends. Use any weapon you find that deals damage over time to enemies. The Electropylon gun and Rotgland Lobber have this available from the start, but you need to unlock a few traits before you start getting it frequently with the Hollowseeker or other weapons.
- At the obolite repository, whenever you see the suit upgrade that restores your health with an increase in adrenaline, grab it asap. It's the best upgrade in the game, but it only lasts for that run.
- Don't redo boss fights on new runs. Head straight to the next biome once you have a decent weapon (such as the Electropylon gun), and, if possible, get the astronaut from the obolite repository before doing so.
- Use the Reconstructor to get respawned if you get taken out in a biome that you haven't yet completed
