Man am still stuck on 1 MB.... Its been 6 days since i applied for the upgrade.....Guess its time to pay a visit to the exchange....

Because i am now feeling its a Strategy PTCL is using for people who download too much. We, as a bait, they are providing us this much speed to get addicted to it, then they will reduce the speed after a specific amount of time, leaving us with no choice but to upgrade.
But i am not gonna fall for this Tactic <_<




They would rather DOWNGRADE you to 1MB just like they did to other people :tv:

jab upgradation start hoi thi to aik 12hours meray pass 2mb ki speed thi is se lagta hay ke pehle un ka plan tha upgrade ka us ke baad speed normal hogaye

Called PTCL again today and the guy said the conn. will be upgraded in 2 days :S :S :S

First 5-6 days, then 4 days and now a time period of 2 days is given to me. I hope this is the last time xD

Finally got my ptcl upgraded to 4mbps. OMG this speed is awesome. Although the speedtest.net result suggests that I have somewhat about 3mbps but I'm getting around 400kbps on torrent. Awesome'ness just got a new definition.

I was having ping issues, the PTCL guy came today and fixed this damn issue. Thank God

I called up my region's DSL manager to tell him to upgrade my connection to 6mbps. His reply "Itni speed kia karogay, 1mbps hi theeq hai" rofl I was like is he the one paying or me....

p.s I am currently getting my area's underground cables (from exchange) changed so that it will be able to handle upto 8mbps speeds.
