First my DSL went DOWN.. now my Evo nitro has given up too! browsing fine but torrents are dead.. wtf

btw, hav u noticed, ptcl has started blocking random sites as well, e.g eztv.it WTF? why was ths site blocked.. another example mobilephonetalk.net!!

anyways... vpns worked for a couple of days especially privitize vpn, which won't connect anymore... i used hotspot to connect to privitize for a day which won't work now either... hotspot works in spaces, like it connects and then it disconnects by itself and then connects again... i am a little tired now, how long does it take to repair a frakking undersea cable anyways??

Weird, speed does come here but only about 5 KB. I have no idea how my little 8 year old brother downloaded PES from 47% to 88% in a few hours WITHOUT any VPN. That's a 8GB game.

Try Forced Encryption and leave the torrent. Wait for about 10 minutes and you will see it downloading despite the tracker status.

Holly Crackle.... I just hit my highest speed on my Evo wingle(290kb). Its been 10 days since I started using evo wingle. But the speed is on private tracker torrent. Not on public torrent. Public torrents still goes 0kb most of times and rarely above 50kb.

PTCL is said to be blocking torrent trackers in Pakistan for last 3 days, which has resulted into a complete blackout of torrent downloads/uploads in the country for customers who are using PTCL DSL and wireless broadband services. According to several reports that ProPakistani received from readers, all users are unable to keep track of torrent files and hence downloading torrent isn’t possible for them any further.
PTCL has not announced anything officially on this.

im also having low utorrent speed , it never go up 25-30kb/s but my smarttv and rest direct download for softarere and ptcl speed test shows me 4mb speed but torrents are 25-30kb/s or sometime nothing

Guys I think I might have a solution for this torrent blocking problem.

In utorrent go to: options-->preferences-->bittorrent
Under protocol encryption check "Allow Incoming legacy connections".
Set outgoing to "Forced".

Now get a vpn software like Hotspot Shield. I tried it with hotspot. Enable it, and trying downloading the torrent..

I checked this with both public and private tracker torrents..

I have 4mb ptcl.. getting speed around 200-290kbps which isn't max but better than 0.1kbps.

Tell us if it works for you too.

It cant be that they blocked torrents and then 'leaked' the news of the under sea cable being damaged. It's in the news and that cant be fake.

So this block crap is fake.
