Yeah UK the cheapest country in the world. Last time I was visiting Southampton back in 2004 I was charged 10 GBP for a simple haircut. About 1500 Rs.
Not want to derail my own thread but a pro tip for anyone:
If you are visiting UK for a month or so get your haircut done from within Pakistan unless you want to pay 15 times more

Here is a good thing for you my friend . you were charged 10 pounds in 2004 for a simple haircut . Its still 10 pounds all over in 2014 . Thats what you call a stable economy . you hardly find anything here which is expensive as you earn according to that , but if you dont earn but ask your mama papa for money then of course a simple noodle soup would be like buying a expensive food

Indeed you earn more but you eventually end up spending more for everything. The quality of service for everything is indeed high but that's about it. Ever wondered why even the upper middle class lives in apartments abroad while almost every tom, dick and harry owns their own home in Pakistan/India? Simple because they can't afford it yes even with bigger pay. Most of the people I know who were settled in Europe for years with family have most recently moved to Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia) to be more specific because it is much more affordable with even higher pays.
I have spent there 2 years as a student and its only good as a Bachelor. Health services are extremely expensive for a non UK citizen who don't have any health insurances or support from government (for their own citizens) etc. Anyway I won't continue this discussion here anymore, if you want to continue arguing then PM me.

being a student amd working is a different thing as compared to being a citizen only. u shud be looking at being permanent here

Who said anything about relying on parents? You have an attitude of a 16yr old and same mentality. I am 28yrs old and I am living a life of Luxury in Pakistan (Thanks To Allah). Been there, done that while you were probably still in 4th grade.
UK is only good for their own citizens, if you were born there as a Non Paki then good otherwise tough luck and realize that no matter if you even get settled there you will remain "Pakistan'i Muslim in the eye of them", not to mention you don't even have 1% insurance and support of their their government like real citizens.
Anyway if you find it nice (which it is) and more benefitable for your career then good, just don't imagine that you are spending superior life then everyone in Pakistan cause you are not.

Ohhh... good! I am not even getting promised speed for 3G network and they are moving to 4G. I am guessing this will even get worst unless they are also planning to increase bandwidth. (sm1)
