PTCL Promo Offer for 2Mb - Ends at 31 Dec 2013

PTCL to upgrade all existing 2MB broadband customers to 4MB on same rates Rs 1549*on or after 31st of december 2013.

So everyone ready.. now this is a good deal but as price is exclusive of tax so we expect some extra charges also ..

oh yes...i spoke to 1236 person..he told me k ye promotion sirf 2 months k liye h or 1st nov se shuru kr de gyi h.. plus the line whch ur using the net must be compatible for 4mb already... i replied whatttttttttttt????????? wht do u mean by compatible line..thn he again replied u can confirm the line from ur exchange...... i was "teri kher"..

From January all users will be charged 2100 rupees for 4mb connection. Confirmed from 1236

will they upgrade student pkg of 2mb too? and is it auto upgradation or we have to order?
what the hell, they'r saying after 31dec all 2mb will be convrted into 4mb for free, what the hell does it mean?
and most of the lines includin mine are not compatible wid 4mb bandwidth, so what about this? they'l upgrad from syatem to 4mb, charge the amount of 2k and we (I) wil be getting only 2mb...

that sounds pathetic

Pagal ni Phu** even those who are paying for their 1MB mushkil se :O Jan se to Minimum 4Mb ho jana to ofcourse there will be noticeable decline in their broadband sale

Its a promotional offer they have to run the company not your hearts, koi kisi ko pagal nhi bana raha. 2 months ke leye 4mb use karne ma koi kabahat nhi ha 1 January ko wapis 2 mb pe karwa lena.

To all concerned individuals, PTCL did say a couple of months ago that they are planning to increase bandwidth & that "Minimum DSL by the end of 2013 would be 4Mb".

And if you read the promo, the lowered rates are just for 1 year and from the next year, they'll again raise the rates to normal 4Mb charges.

For me, even now its almost DOUBLE than what i am paying now, and would become MORE THAN DOUBLE after 1 year. I don't know what kind of f*cked up strategy they are employing but it certainly doesn't seem good. Because now, it definitely seem like they are cashing their monopoly.

so there will be difference of just 100rs lol

They might have allocated you 4 MB but forgot to cap it to the 4 MB speed and hence you are enjoying uncapped speed

Time to be a good citizen and report it...... or not
