Ptcl DSL speed Problem....

I have 1mb ptcl dsl connection,I saw on newspapers,ads and etc that speed is going to be updated to 2mb,but NOTHING,i have got the same speed till,i used to get 100kb average download speed and it is still the same,pls help me guys

he means to give ur complaint on the phone, rather then going to their office.

Many people haven't been upgraded yet, so you have to wait, and give ptcl a call at 1218. Tell them you haven't been upgraded.

It's better to go to their office and complaint about it face to face, because on phone I don't know whether they will listen or not but they will keep you waiting for 20mins surely.

could be the wiring,cause its kinda messy from outside,all the copper is our of the wires and it is taped to keep em together,i used to get 75 kbps,and on sum sites 100kbps,now i get 100kbps and 120 kbps on sumsites,does this mean anything???

yaar i've got almost the same problem though my account has been upgraded my performance differs... frrequent disconnections and speed changes etc.. have complained several times nobody responds!

oh strange my connection is upgraded to 1mb from 512k its working excellent i am getting a average spped of 100 and 110kb/sec.i love ptcl

bhai i had a problem jus like urs
it cant be fixed on fone those help line people dnt have good technical support ..........go to ur exchange n tell them to refresh it then it will work properly........
i did the same now my connection work fine

you better go to your exchange & register a complaint there.

Im not been upgraded yet. The help line says that thelast day for upgradation is 30th april, till hen they are upgrading more then 2 lacs connection in 130 cities. So, we should better wait .

I went to the exchange,told the guy my prob,he asked me my no.,i gave it to him,he said its upgraded frm here,i was like but iam getting the speed i used to get 100kbps,and my friend who has also upgraded frm 1mb to 2mb get 225 kbps,so he was quite,i told him that just get it refreshed whatever ,he noted my no. and said he will get it refreshed 2hours hav gone after our talk still no change..
