and nop, the 40gb doesn't come in that chrome finish. however, the 40 gb is locally available in 3 colours; black, white and silver.

Which models have a chrome finish then? And can I see a picture of the two some place to see the difference?

all the models BUT the 40gb ones have the chrome finish.

i'm sure you can google for pics.

or go to the gameshop and ask them to show you the models.

If I'm not wrong, I think the 40 GB model only lacks the chrome trim

See the right end of the PS3 in this screen....instead of silver, the trim is grey/black

I don't think that 160GB has arrived yet but it's value is $500 so here it will above 45K !! Still good price saying that you get a free game and a messenger kit with large HDD !!

Man if you wanna spent that much without considering HDD then do get a 40GB for 33K and add 5K more to get one latest game or one mid-old game and very old game (Resistance) !!

@faisal, don't get 160gb bro, 40gb will be fine and if u feel the need of more space, u can get a laptop HDD which will work with PS3 (PS3 also have a laptop HDD )
and get MGS4, it will be around 3500-4k

There is onlt one difference between the two i.e. Rumble (vibration)

Yeah and I think that even the Rumble feature ain't that good so if you are getting a Sixaxis then don't get a DS3 if you want a relaxed game !!
@Faisal I checked with local shopkeepers and they said that they may get next month and that stock Price is gonna be Rs.48K !!
