what u mean?
im downloading from demonoid..sorry but im new this torrent world
Demonoid torrents have few uploaders and lots of downloaders so even if you have a 100mbps connection you won't get far with speeds. Reason for this is that Demonoid doesn't oblige its members to maintain a seeding ratio (i.e. they're not obliged to upload as much as they download). On a decent tracker however, like IPT, torrents have many uploaders (and fast ones too, most people there use super-fast seed boxes) and few downloaders, so you get kick-ass speeds. Reason being is that over there you have to upload at least as much as you download otherwise you get restrictions on your account (and once your upload/download ratio goes below 0.3 your account gets banned).
It's not quite that harsh though, you get bonus points for seeding (i.e. uploading) and once you have enough of these you can trade them for upload credit. And another big assistance comes from freeleech torrents, which are torrents whose download doesn't add to your downloaded amount but any amount you upload does. So just a couple of weeks ago I downloaded a 26.5GB TV episode pack at super-fast speeds and it didn't even add a single byte to my download, but whatever little I uploaded did count. And there's quite a few freeleech torrents there, mostly they're movie/game/episode packs (i.e. large torrents), but I've found games like SF4, L4D2, MW2, FO3, all on freeleech.
