The speedtest showed 5868kb/s .... it equals to how much MB or kbps? how do you guys calculate it? I know 1024 kbps = 1 MB .. Please guide through thnx

its 6858...and u shud divide it by 8 coz 8 bits = 1 byte

and that thing is in kilo bits..

oh btw, i just have 1 screenshot which u wont believe, but i downloaded fedora 8 off the internet at 2.94MB/s! (thats mega bytes per sec!), that was when connect comm malfunctioned

No dude, thats Kilobits.

If written properly, kbps is kilobits and kBps is kiloBytes. The B is uppercase for Bytes.

Its impossible to get such speeds without 25mps connection ofcourse.. neway download accelerators are usually glitchy, and give these kinds of boost for a couple of seconds when there is some kind of internal error.. i think this must be from one of that kind of situation..

bewakoof insaan, i was saying alimirza's speed is in kilobytes...and the speed i posted is in kilobits, i know that...and im guessing sum1 from inside the main tw network tested that time, and now that ip is with us
