Hey!

I am in the market for a 46" 3D LED! Samsung.
What my quick internet search reveals is, that there is a F series and a ES series?
What is the difference?
I would most probably be sticking to Series 6, at max go to series 7, cause of price. Any info about the benefits of the 7 series might be helpful too?
I'll have this TV hooked upto my Pc as a second display for Movie watching and gaming sometimes.

Edit: Nevermind, F is the newer series! So i shall be going with that.. The two main contenders seem to be the F6400 Vs F7500. I have yet to check the market, but the prices online (homeshopping & shophive) are 108K and 155K.. 155K is just a tad bit above my limit but i wonder if the quad core processor and 240Hz is any benefit? I don't care about the SMART Tv apps. Also, i have a feeling the Tv's in the market with samsung warranty are going to be more expensive

One thing I can say for sure is that F7500 is definitely WAY better than F6400 both in terms of PQ and features.



When I started my research about 4 months ago, I had my eyes of F6400 & LG LA6200(cuz of it's back lit led tech). After further research and visiting several stores, I decided to increase the budget and I'm now stuck between F7500 & LA6600. In terms of PQ, F7500 is better but several drawbacks of samsung panels ( very limited viewing angle + active shutter glasses) have me inclined more towards the LG. Very soon, I'll be buying one of these two models: 46F7500 & 55LA6600.

Btw F6400 is available for 105K now. F7500 is for around 140K now so maybe that fits your budget.

Angles on f7500 are more than adequate and much better than f6400.

Ips of lg sure will win but f7500 is pretty close.

For the normal user its almost same. I use f7500 and picture is fine from all angles

I bought the LA6600. More than satisfied with the results. The angles on F7500 were not that bad tbh but it's active 3D really put me off...It would've been my 2nd TV if I were to have one in the same price range.

Samsung 40" F5100 vs Sony 40" R452 Which one of the two would you people suggest? I need to know it by evening, kinda short on time. My most basic use will be watching TV Shows/Movies/Anime. Which brand is better in LED Tv ? Ecostar, Haier, Orient

As the title suggests i need your suggestions in which brand to go for. I am looking to buy a 32inch LED TV for my room and confused in which brand to go for as i haven't use any of them personally. Heard and read good reviews about Ecostar. Prices are almost same for both the 3 just a minor Rs500 difference +/-. Cant go for Sony, Samsung as they are relatively expensive in range of 40k and already have a Bravia LED in lounge. This one is i am looking for my room to watch serials and games etc. One more thing i read on some forums that some companies are using LCD technology in panel and LED back lit and advertise it as a LED TV which off course is not. So which things i should look after in order to avoid being scam ad which brand should i go for.

These are Chinese replicas 100% sure. Just look at the box of the W80, the TV itself doesn't look like that. I've seen these at Hall Road Lahore, their panels are much inferior to the originals.

Every brand does that be it Sony, Samsung or EcoStar. They are LCDs with LED back lit technology.

If you can't get renowned brands like LG, Sony and Samsung, then you only need to look towards Ecostar. I've seen them and they look fine. Heard good things about them as well.
