OLX Karachi is filled with these kind of sellers , selling Sony, Samsung LED TVs dirt cheap. Even i am skeptical whether to buy them or not, even a shop keeper is selling them in warranty , have a look

Now I believe that theybsre smuugled .

Never heard such a thing .

Also they are shops on Islamabad blue area selling so can't be xopyies .

These are Chinese replicas 100% sure. Just look at the box of the W80, the TV itself doesn't look like that. I've seen these at Hall Road Lahore, their panels are much inferior to the originals.

Sir all panels come from.china .
If they are replicas then they are doing some thing right .

But look at build quality .

I think its some thing else I am going today to find out .

I have been using an eco star TV for more than a year now and its been working great. Their warranty is great too, my tuner for fried and they repaired it in just two days.

40 inch Sony 1080p full active 3d with 5 glasses rs 41000

I got 40 inch Sony for my PC es 33000.


51 inch Sony WiFi smart TV rs 60000

60 inch for rs 90000


It was awesome experience .

I played prime thus full 1080p .

Awesome .

i wanted the sony 50 inch led 3d ..but it seems 3d is only in models up to 42 inch ...not above -

also saw the gigantic 60 inch ..was for 90k ..and was fantastic ---they give 1 year service free --meaning issue arrised u pay for parts ---yeah thats how it is ,.

34k for a 40 inch led 1080p ....head smashing .

i cant say much but i changed my mind rather geting the 40 inch 3d version costing 42k ...what the hell ---some times one feels like watching a 3d movie .

pictures please, this sounds too good to be true, what's the catch? apart from the fact that you know they are counterfeit copies? software is different or what? how would one recognize between the original and the copy? some people suggest by the box?

And how is the picture quality , colors, contrast in comparison to renowned brands? i know cable will look the same as it is in SD but when connected through HDMI or USB how was the result?

Definitely TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

Like Rezon said, they are most likely replicas. Best way to check em would be to compare them side by side with a standard official model and see if there is any quality difference. Also, who knows what life do these T.V's have. Maybe they broke down early compared to the official ones.

The over quality of the display is pretty good. I have the 22 inch model so the saturation and quality is good for the size. I have my ps3 setup on it and that performs well on it. I also occasionally watch movies on it which are HD which look good also.

Original panels are mostly from Malaysia. I've seen these TVs you're talking about dude and their picture quality is shit.
