The pings would be better on EUW or EUNE servers. I have played on both and EUNE ping is slightly higher than EUW but then all pakistani players are on EUW server.

Aoa......

thnks pg...for helping me with the router problem.....now i have another problem....it just happened, the problem is when updating lol client for patch 4.2.....my net got disconnected due to load shedding....and when i tried to reinstall the patch. I noticed something very strange the size of the patch had doubled i.e from 400 to 800mb..and the speed is really slow i.e max 45 kbps and min 2 kbps...whereas before it was over 200kbps. i tried many things while surfing the net....so i finally unintsalled the whole game its size was 12gb ....and now its 3.5 something...after the reinstallation ..the problem the still persists.....sorry for the long description ..to put it shortly.......patch update speed is very low(3-25 kbps)...and whenever the net disconnects the patch size is doubled...rite now its 7 kbps and 1960 mb remaing......any help will be appreciated....

Enabling p2p will increase speeds. I can feel your pain, LoL has fps drops so I have to repair it after EVERY single patch, repairing takes about 4 hours, so after every patch....4 hours of repair downtime.

thank u..for ur reply....i tried enabling/disabling it yesterday....but didn't see a whole lot difference in speed....tried it again...this morning by enabling p2p..and speed just sky rocketed.....thanks... Glhf

when patching it always keep p2p enabled. you might not see a difference right away but eventually the download speed will increase. or you can ask someone to torrent it for you

so i persuaded my friend to play League with me.....and he has a evo wingle 9.3mbps-30 gb or something package....and was wondering, Will it be enough to play league and do other stuff(minimal downloading-browsing) besides playing league ???.....and what about ping?(min/max=?)....he lives in lahore(johar town near Umt)...any help will/shall be appreciated....

you can check your league ping by typing this in a cmd prompt window

ping riot.de -t

you can observe the ping during browsing activities and see whether is stays at a playable level
OR
you can check the ping by starting a custom game against bots: observe the ping for a minute or two and then simply exit the game

I quit league, but it uses very little bandwith. Also evo has good pings, but sometimes during peak hours it gets very jittery. Good luck ruining your life!

I am using Fariya's cable network, the ping stays around 200 and is playable - comes down to ~160 on off-peak hours (daytime)
