Get 300 for oc more than 4.7
Get 200 for the highest clock
200 for ram oc

6 cores
No points for oc which is obviously more difficult to stabilize
No points for highest clock
No points for ram oc
500 point deduction

find me Anyone on this forum who thinks this is fair competition

And as far as the scores are concerned there is a difference of 300-500 in fire strike between 4-6 core
And there is negligible difference in heaven in valley
Also once you go in the extreeme benchmarks the difference is further reduced to about 100-250 points due to the cpu
So the 1000 point penalty simply puts 6 cores at at 800 point disadvantage and without competition you can see that me and [MENTION=8932]Dark Sith[/MENTION] won't win and it makes me question the intentions of your fair play .

i dont know from where you calculating 1000 points panelty. I simply dont understand it.

Panelty imposed reason is to compensate other 4 cores to stay alive in the competition, you should understand it. 300-500 difference is a lot my brother, and this sometimes higher than 500 and that is only due to 2 extra cores.

Lets compare Firestrike Current Score:
Your Score =18385/18674
HiperJZ Score = 17465

Both have same GPU
Difference = 920/1209

So there is huge difference or minor difference.??

Even if i charge 500 panelty to current score 6 core people are still ahead. you can see leaderboard. Even after this panelty i still believe 6 core have upper hand with extra power.

upcoming benchmarks includes 3dmark 11 which is more Core + OC hungry.

So here is your fair play .

i will explain the 1000 point penalty again so its clear

1) there is a 500 point base penalty for 6 cores
2) there is a 300 point reward for 4 core oc
3) there is a 200 point reward for 4 core for ram oc

the problem here [MENTION=21647]nafu[/MENTION] is that
i understand the 500 point penalty for the extra 2 cores that is fine . the issue is that you are not understanding the point that its more difficult to maintain an overclock on the 6 cores as there is Vcore Vcci the north and south bridge and not to mention the base clocks which mess up the ram clocks and the XMP profile as well . so i expect there to be some reward for the highest OC in both 4 core and in 6 cores.secondly bro why do the 6 core not get a reward for having ddr4 @2800 or 3000 ?

i think the 500 penalty is more than enough. but if you think its fair not to reward for OC and ram clocks than i can't really understand where you are coming from.
also the post by janasheen in the original thread has to be fixed as that does not have tessellation on the competition settings please see to that too . [MENTION=8932]Dark Sith[/MENTION] pointed this out a few days back it might have missed your attention .

thanks bro . also adding the points for OC on the 6 core will balance this out .
because honestly we can't clock anything above 4.7 for me and 4.8 for dark . the 4 core guys go easy on 5ghz so i don't think it will be a problem even if its added .atleast give some reward for 6 core oc bro we both know its twice as difficult getting a stable clock on these CPUs

this way hopefully things will balance out . =)

bro if gave you bonus on CPU then compensation to 4 core will gonna be Zero. atleast for the tough competition panelty needs to be there. ultimately panelty reduce to 300 points. secondly you guys will also get 200 extra for GPU OC. that is gross for all of the participants. Try cooperate with me man.

so 4 core people wont complain about 6 core guy win with clear margin, atleast they get some thing to cheer upon. a close Counter will be Expected if things will as current.

how you can say pointless. you didn't even post the score. what do we know who have edge even after panelty or bonus.
