Probably my first ever review , so errors can be expected

When it comes to fighting games , there is nothing surprising to know that Street Fighter Series stacks up among the best fighting games made to date . The series being about 20 years old among which the original Street Fighter II was released in '91 , we've come across many Street Fighter titles and various off-spins .
CAPCOM promised to bring us the redefined version of the originally created , and they proved to stand by their words . Originally available at arcades , Street Fighter 2 has made it's way to the next-gen consoles . The game has been quite a hit among die-hard gamers and new-comers alike . So , below are the categorized aspects of this remake .
GRAPHICS
Super Street Fighter 2 boasts full HD Graphics . The re-tuned version of the Classic Street Fighter 2 comes off with completely redesigned Character Models rendered off in full High Definition Graphics . The graphics are completely cell-shaded which really get along with the genre and look absolutely stunning , vibrant and beautiful .
HADOUKEN
The game retains it's original Frame-rate , along with the usual slow-mo's when performing moves such as Hadoukens . The stages and environments are exactly the same , except that they're now displayed in HD and are somewhat re-worked from the original game . You have the option to view the game in classic or HD Graphics which is a really cool feature .
Take that ! And that ! And that !
GAMEPLAY
Starting off with the menus , the game is extremely simple . You have three game modes . Single Player , Training Mode and third one being Online . For the most part , the gameplay resembles quite a lot with the Original Version of the Game . The training mode is well constructed but it lacks some features such as hotkeys etc . Lastly , there's the online mode which I will cover up separately in the multiplayer category of the review . However , in this remake , there's an all new HD Remix Mode which fancies modified character moves .
Likely , you have an option here as well . You can choose between Classic and HD Remix Mode . The remake has all characters from the original game . The game features a single bar for the Combo Move as found in the original version .
Here's Guile kicking Bison's ass . SONIC BOOM !!!
The gameplay for most part is extremely simple . It's quite different from the Fighting Games we see these days . There's no such things as Unlockables , Score , Story mode etc . Street Fighter II HD is based on a 2D environment where all you gotta do is cover up space and perfect your timing . Where SF2 HD may look pretty simple and easy , it actually isn't . The game is pretty hard to beat . I barely managed to beat the game on just Medium settings . You can clearly feel the increasing difficulty when you keep clearing the stages .
Firing players up always looks cool . Hehe
The gameplay has been reworked from scratch . The character moves feel much more accurate and precise . And while I'm stressing on the movements and controls , I'd like to point out here that you can set the keypad buttons according to your liking . However , for the downside , I did expect some new game modes . But minor cons like these don't stand up against the awesomeness of this game .
SOUND
Sound department has become a vital part for holding up a game's pace and entertainment . CAPCOM has done a very well job in covering up the sound and music for this remake . The sound effects are strikingly similar to the orginal version of the game . The music has been completely worked on from scratch . The music adjustings well according to the different stages of the game . It ranges from Rock to Pop to Reggae . The music has its effects as well . Once a player loses about two third of the health bar , the music tends to pick up pace which spices up things a bit .
MULTIPLAYER
I'm intentionally putting the multiplayer category at the end of this review . I personally found out the multiplayer mode the best part of the game . The multiplayer menu is extremely straight forward and easy to use . It consists of modes like Friendly Match and Tournaments . You can create your own room as well and customize the game settings however you want . It gives you almost all the options you need . You can reserve private slots for your friends . The lobby can contain upto 6 players at a time . The good part is that the spectators can watch the match . The bad part is that , I think that there should've been support of making upto 3 matches simultaneously in the same lobby . Once the match is finished , the spectators get to play one after the other . Capcom did manage to minimize the online issues . There is very little lag in the online matches .
But , likewise there are some issues with the online part as well . First up , there's a glitch that sometimes the character's health bar becomes completely inaccurate . Secondly , the online invitation system is a little bit troublesome and you can have problems inviting your friends in the lobby .It happens sometimes that when a player tries to accept an invitation , the screen goes back to the Online Main Menu .
OVERALL
The conclusion is that Street Fighter II HD Remix has been very well worked on . CAPCOM worked on this remake for years and they did not disappoint . The game holds a very reasonable price tag of $14.99 on the PlayStation Network . The game is pretty compact in size i.e just 303 MB so you won't have to make much room on your HDD . The game is definitely a must-buy . The online part is probably the best thing about this game .
Pros :
Cons :
Graphics : 9/10
Sound : 8/10
Gameplay : 9.5/10
Value/Worth : 10/10
Online : 8.9/10
Overall : 9.1/10
