[PG Review] : Resident Evil 5 (Spoiler free)

Ok i do admit the review is very very good but i cant just say it was perfect as nothing is perfect in this world...no man and certainly no game.so nw i will just mention a few things I FOUND WRONG..firstly 10/10 to gameplay??havent you all played this game and heard that it has a very very big gameplay issue of standing still to shoot..i mean we are not playing on PSOne anymore so WTF were capcom thinking when they implemented this stupid lame mechanic to this great game..thats the most hated con the game and it DEFENITLY effects gameplay,i think its not 10/10 but 8.5/10.
Secondly the Graphics getting 10/10 is also very controversal...i mean the most greatest looking game ever to be produced yet was and still is Crysis and even it does not has 10/10 on graphics,its more like 9.8/10 to be estimated...so logically 10/10 graphics for RE5 means its even better looking than Crysis which quite frankly is very funny even for a console fanboy like me.
But thats what i think and it matters not what i think...10/10 is to me non-achievable score,its more like a imaginary figure that just defines the upper limit or perfection and to me nothing is perfect(Except God)...no man and certainly no game.

i dont understand why resident evil 4 was highly anticipated in reviews as it also was'nt a full resident evil game there was'nt anything in it from the resident evil story we just had to save the president daughter that was all in it and no one mentioned that it is'nt a resident evil game at that time and now when resident evil 5 came they are talking about why it isnt a resident evil game although it consist of the original resident evil story.

i think only those games now-a-days make the mark that actually have some sort or revolution in them or simply those that make new innovations..so yes those games deserve high ratings that actually do have something new to offer on the table and RE5 sadly suffers on that department so yeah i think faraany3k has a very valid point

yes i am trying to explain the same thing that sadly a game is judged by its improvements from its previous game and not for its own presentation.

I think RE5 is a bit over rated. Didn't see any innovation in gameplay. And the graphics weren't mind blowing. The story was average. Have seen better boss fights. But I'm not saying it was a bad game. It was pretty good. But not that good.

mostly agree with you on everything when talking in comparison to RE4, but the graphics, c'maaaan man, these are probably the best graphics on any multiplatform game so far. (and better than gears of war 2 according to several PG members including myself )

re5 is okay, i like re4 better becauseleon always fight alone which added tension and in this game u have a companion who fights with the hero which takes away the horror aspect of the game. moreover we had two hot american women to see through most of re4 but in this game we only have sheva's black ass to stare at. i also find sheva's ai to be annoying. sometime she start shooting right behind me and dont hit the target and therefore waste the ammo i worked so hard to save. dumb &^%$#@

the only thing about the AI that really annoyed me is that it will always use the fucking handgun, even if it has an AK 47 in it's inventory. Nope, handgun or bust.

Put it in Attack mode!

attack mode is useless unless you're playing on amateur, the AI goes ape shit, waste all ammo, gets hit way too easily and dies.

single player I use Sheva as an attach case...dont give her weapons cause she is not good and it makes game more interesting...and it makes it Chris only game...
