Assalam Alaikum Warehmatullahi Wabarakatuhu,

With a dedicated gaming community here comprising of so many members from Karachi, it hurts to see that no one is interested in meet-ups here, and those who are interested tend to only meet with a limited group of people they know...

So with Ramadan as a blessing I propose a meet-up of all the Karachi members, to come and have iftar with all of us.
Since no one was taking the initiative, I took it upon myself to create a thread about it.

So I talked to Shahid Bhai (SEvolution) and he was also pretty interested with this program.

Time and venue can all be decided once the response here is gets to someplace between good and very good

Our fellow members from the Twin Cities and Lahore do gather from time to time while we just tend to stay where we are and not socialize further than this platform provided to us.

True the conditions of Karachi have worsen since the last few days but ALLAH ka naam le kar sub set hojata hai.

I request that all Karachi members participate and Insha'ALLAH this meet-up will be a success.

We will only be having iftar and some tafree time together but I don't think any gaming scene will be present.

I request the mods to sticky this thread.

Those who are coming please post in this thread or VM me, Thank You.

where u guys will be going most of the places offer 900 to 1000rs for a aftar buffet deals not many would spend that much i guess or what plans do u have in ur mind do share

We do an Iftar meet every year. Infact last time Karachi did an Iftar + Sehri (Gaming night) as well. An Iftar outside is a waste of money ... a gaming scene with Sehri is a much more fun setup.

If people are really interested, we Team PG Karachi folks can easily arrange/organize the whole thing. We always have.

Well if the members do chip in for your idea too then I have no problem, let's hear what the members have to say and most importantly how many are willing to come.

I just want the PG members to show up whether it be with Team PG management or without

Sehri + Gaming thing sounds good. We did it last year and it was pretty damn awesome i'd say.

If its near where i live and i am free. i still might not come cuz i dunno, never have been to a gathering where i have no idea who is who. I mean, are we gonna have to wear a card that says our PG IDs or something?

It all sounds like a flip of a coin, either i go and have fun or i go and have awkward moments with almost everyone and never show up on PG again and have to live with the fact that someone will remember me as "That weird, yet devilishly handsome person at that party I went to"

I don't know why you guys are so insecure...

If you look at Lahore meet-ups, even 14yrs old show up without any of the above said bullshit and enjoy...

The purpose of these meets is to meet up with people whom you just know off the forum...

Dude seriously?? like you think you have been talking to the walls on this forum till now. It is actually your best chance to meet the same people personally with whom you have been sharing your gaming experience! At least i'd have definitely attended the meet-up if i were in Karachi...the gaming night scene sounds real cool :)

    Started Dead Island 2, and i find it pretty lame. The story is shit. The characters are either cringe or bland (all 6 of them), The gameplay isn't fun. Even the goddamn zombies don't behave like proper zombies. They're all fast & intelligent unlike how zombies are supposed to be like. Any fan of "zombie" genre cannot possibly like this shitfest of a game. Dying Light 2 was million times better than this shit.
