While I've never been a fan of Musou combat, it seems to work really well within the framework of a Persona game. Seems to be going in the direction of FFVIIR's real-time + menu-driven abilities, which is exactly what I want.

Yeah, i checked after the fact and saw there were like half a dozen emails from PS and Atlus with codes and themes. I think there's like 10 themes and 20 avatars or so.

And yeah, Scramble seems to be a direct story sequel to P5. I really wish it gets an English release sooner rather than later.

Persona 5 Royal Achieves ‘Record Sales’ in the West, According to Sega Financial Report

In response to a question asking for Sega to elaborate on digital sales of physical game titles going well overseas, the performance of the recently released Persona 5 Royal was highlighted, among other game titles.

Also, in the “Persona” series, “Persona 5 Royal” began selling in the U.S. and Europe on March 31st, achieving record sales. While physical sales were restricted, the ratio of digital sales increased significantly and are remaining strong in FY21/3 (fiscal year ending in March 2021).

Sega states that the ratio of digital sales is increasing in the market overall [likely due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic]. Even if physical sales numbers decrease, profits will still increase if digital sales compensate for the same number of units that would normally be sold.​

PS2 era kingdom hearts is also a big name JRPG these days. Only reason it's on PC is because Nintendo's console hardware get exploited fast. Hopefully, they work on preventing that from happening with the Switch successor

Atlus is owned by Sega, it's not their decision. The only thing Atlus can decide is whether to handle any ports in-house or have Sega let an external developer handle it. The former is always preferable.

That being said, Catherine: Full Body, Persona 5 or even the Scramble game are all likely candidates.

Kingdom Hearts is dope no doubt. But please admit it, there is hardly any worthwhile property left on consoles anymore. Just a couple of exclusives.

And yes Persona is coming to PC because some old models of Switch can be hacked lol. Where was the salt mine???

At the start of new generation, platforms try to hold as many exclusives as possible, but this gen everything is coming to PC. Strange times we live in.
