I'm extremely sorry if I'm being emotional but hold on ok !
IMO,This bill shows that democracy has failed in Pakistan (which never really succeeded)
Democracy failed exceptionally quickly after independence because Pakistan possessed a weak and fragmented political party that was unable to resolve key governing conflicts.[SUP]
[6][/SUP] In the wake of intensifying political instability, the civilian bureaucracy and military assumed governing power in 1958. Since its independence, Pakistan's democratic system has fluctuated between civilian and military governments at various times throughout its
political history, mainly due to political instability, civil-military conflicts, political
corruption, and the
periodic coup d'états by the
military establishment against weak civilian governments, resulting in the enforcement of
martial law

From this everyone is SURE that Pakistan is a democratic country, not a communist (hold on that thought now) . now a little google search and you would see that according Stanford university
https://web.stanford.edu/~ldiamond/iraq/DemocracyEducation0204.htm it states that the first principle of a democracy is "
Citizens’ Rights" .Everyone has the right to have their own beliefs, including their religious beliefs, and to say and write what they think. Everyone has the right to seek different sources of information and ideas. Everyone has the right to associate with other people, and to form and join organizations of their own choice, including trade unions. Everyone has the right to assemble and to protest government actions. However, citizens have an obligation to exercise these rights peacefully, with respect for the law and for the rights of others.
Now educate me if you can ,
the following picture gives a summary of the cyber crime bill
and as evident from this,Point 1 and point 4 are seen to be political influence. What these people want is that ,they can take do whatever they want as long as the cabinet and everyone in NA is happy . But if it's anything that displeases the people and people start to protest, they are going to jail them EVEN IF THEY TALK ABOUT IT ON THE SOCIAL MEDIA . Sounds familiar doesn't it ? that's because the EXACT same thing is being done in China where Facebook and Youtube is banned to prevent people to see the harsh treatment given to People in Xinjiang province and they monitor the internet so much that if anyone is found to be flaming something against the PLA ,they will jail them and last thing I remember is,China is not Democratic . Back to the bill,What I found to be quite clever of whoever that proposed this bill is that they infiltrated the points of jailing anyone who would leak photos of someone . And this would allow the people to overlook point 1 and 4 ,which are major issues, because the parents wouldn't want their child photos to be leaked . Instead of foqing educating the child and teaching their child to not send their photos to aeri gaeri, they would rather support this bill .
The reason why I'm against this is because point 1 and point 4 (from what I can see) are taking away the rights of a citizen which is "Everyone has the right to assemble and to protest government actions." "Everyone has the right to have their own beliefs, including their religious beliefs, and
to say and write what they think."
You're all welcome to correct me if i'm wrong
